Crazy day as we received 3 pallets of clay with 10 boxes of slip. Going to be a very busy 2027 so needed to order as Winter is around the corner. #pottersofbluesky #pottery #ceramics #handmade #madeincanada

I knew when I started pottery what kind of potter I wanted to be. It took me many fails to get me where I am but I’m still learning! #pottery #pottersofbluesky #ceramics #handmade #makersgonnamake

What a day we had yesterday at the Honey Harvest Festival in Avondale. So many mugs found new homes and now it’s back to making for some busy November Markets

What an amazing day at the market yesterday. We were filming some B Roll for an episode they are doing for a tv show. The weather even held up for us. #pottersofbluesky #pottery #eastcoastartisan #handmade #novascotiafarmersmarket

It’s been non stop here. My friends who know me know I hate making bowls as I hate trimming the feet for them. A fellow potter gave me a cheat for them and now I love making bowls. Also been making some large sippy cups. #pottery #ceramics #housewares #kitchen #handmade

New sippy cups made and I don’t usually make these styles of them so can’t wait to see them glazed up. #pottery #ceramics #drinkcups #handmade #madeinthemaritimes

Had my morning coffee as usual and looked over and there was this bear on my patio. Scared the shit out of him with my crazy hair and screaming. #nature #naturephotography #bear #nationalgeographic

So glad to finally be able to keep bees again. Moving from Coast to Coast we weren’t able to get hives as it’s been so busy from the get go but I always make bee mugs. #pottery #ceramics #beekeeping #honey #bees

Taking advantage of the hot weather to dry out the pottery to get it ready for a kiln firing. A full glaze kiln is now cooling off to get ready for this weekends market and orders. It’s been non stop here. #pottery #ceramics #handmade #makersgonnamake #madeincanada

Some hive maintenance today. Weather was nice to supplement feed the new hives as the weather has been so touch and go so the young bees have not been able to forage as much. By feeding them they are able to draw comb for pollen, honey and egg laying. #beekeeper #bees #honeybee
