THIS is why #OFMD feels so authentic! It's a bidding war in Spanish Jackiez. It's @hugopm.bsky.social 's Haughty Attendant. It's "We've got one type of rum. Cheap." It's chicken hat guy. It's Vincent and his mum. It feels like a real world lived in by real people.

I reopened my Tumblr after more than a year just for this! 🏴‍☠️🫡

Sadly, they are pretty soft for apples and don't ship well. Sorry.

Went to the apple orchard today. How do I always forget how good apples are?! Also, as a Midwesterner, McIntosh are the king of apples. I WILL fight you. 🍎

That is so amazing! Pan's Labyrinth is one of my fave movies and GDT is one of my fave directors. So happy for you! 🥰 Hoping one of the Halloween releases is somewhere near me.

Yeah, no, this works perfectly. "You may not be perfect but you gotta be THERE" is definitely S2 vibes. And for the most part, being there was good enough.

Finally got to see Forgotten Island today. It was SO GOOD! I'm pissed it didn't get more marketing (I actually only saw a preview for it before Coyote vs. Acme) but if it's showing where you are, go see it! And if it's not showing for a few weeks, see it then!

Or maybe like a rashomon (sp?) thing where each member of the polycule tells the story as they remember it?

The only time it's "Taika and Rhys" is when they're being asked to take the lie detector test.

Yeah, my neck of the woods finally got the message this week, and my life (and sleep) has improved dramatically. Hope that comes soon for you.

Yes! This film is what made me get back into physical media, just a bit before streaming started doing....whatever the fuck is happening. Glad to report I now have some great staples as well as new releases on DVD. I have also brought my roommate around on this matter.

Look, we are all poor bastards trying to steer the same boat. And while we may disagree on what direction to take, we must kill the motherfucker punching holes in the bottom.

Yes! Wee John to me always came across as one of the gentlest characters. Like, he'd use his size and strength if he really needed to, but he didn't want it to be part of him.

Me: FINALLY, some decent weather. Forecast: 16 degrees, overcast, 60% chance of rain, windy. Me: I said what I said! Autumn time! 🍂🍁
