Last night was a great night for card games. First I attended the Gundam Card Game #GCG ST11-14 release event. Then I played some #SWU Twin Suns, before teaching my friends how to play #WoWTCG. Then we finished up with a couple games of #MTG Commander! Yes, I am a card game slut.

Honestly very nervous about collector boosters in #Lorcana. The game has been increasingly a target for pokébros and adding more chase cards is only going to make that worse. I don’t think they’ll alleviate product scarcity either, only increase it :/

Working at a LGS is kinda wild cause the things you see when you’re behind the counter all day is a completely different picture from being just a regular. Right now there’s a ton of Pokébros who can’t get product that are resorting to scalping #Lorcana now.

Ashes of the Empire prerelease went well! Ended up with a decent Ezra/yellow build and his leader unit ability is pretty wild when it pops off. Not limiting it to once a turn was definitely a choice and I easily got 5-6 extra damage a turn from advantage tokens with him on the board. #SWU

Got top 8 in my FLGS’s A Lawless Time store showdown yesterday which surprised me because I just took my casual Thrawn/red midrange deck. To be honest I didn’t even hear what place I got because I fully did not expect it, but even if I got 8th that’s still a shiny Maul for me so yay! #SWU

I dunno if Supergirl is really as bad as all that, but given DC’s track record it seems likely. TSS and Superman were really great though, so it’ll be a shame if there’s a swing and a miss so early in the new DC franchise :(

I bought the Sonic Frontiers Nintendo Switch 2 Edition and honestly I’m not sure what about the game is enhanced for the Switch 2? It remains an excellent game, but graphically it looks exactly the same as the Switch. It *might* load quicker but otherwise doesn’t have any noticeable differences.
