🐋♀ We found evidence of sex & reproductive-state segregation — specifically biased toward pregnant females. 🐟 Species-specific prey availability the year before pregnancy didn’t explain yearly changes in pregnancy rates, possibly due to minke whales' generalist diet. Photo credit: Christian Ramp
