The poster argues that language emergence researchers have a complex conception of linguistic structure, connecting compositional, contextual, and holistic properties. But such a structure escapes currently available theoretical accounts. The argument is based on a corpus study of 5000 articles in language emergence. The study used semantic search based on vector embeddings, topic modelling and collocation analysis, supplemented by philosophical conceptual analysis.
