Two new amiibo have been announced for Kirby Air Riders: Kirby on a Warp Star, and Bandee on the Winged Star! They'll function as trainable riders in-game, just like how amiibo work in Smash! They can also swap vehicles, which is a new concept for amiibo! They'll release the same day as the game.

did you know that Kirby very rarely does his signature Kirby Dance after defeating a final boss? and sometimes when he does, well, it doesn't end well. moral of the story: never do the Kirby Dance after defeating the final boss, it's a Kirby game, it's never that simple

In the character select for Kirby Air Riders, there is a ? icon just like the course select has. While it might be a Random button it could also just be signifying that there will be more to unlock, as there are more courses in the game than there on that menu.

I can almost guarantee there will be more characters. City Trial has up to 16 players. There's 12 characters revealed. With only 12, there'd have to be duplicates. Also, if everyone wants to use the same character, there'd have to be at least 16 alt costumes for each character!
