Having relationship drama to Coldplay is very mid-2000s high school vibes.

My right hand's middle finger was reattached after a run-in with a filing cabinet at four years old. I still to this day use the scar to determine what my left and right are.

I get asked in job interviews alot "Why the history degree, you work in tech" and I say "it's because I want to be Indiana Jones when I grow up." As a quick quip that characterizes me well. To be clear this is what I mean when I say "I want to be Indiana Jones when I grow up"

The AI over on the other site started referring to itself like a Wolfenstein villain...so I'm gonna try to spend more time here in earnest.

I was in Boston when they were chasing the Boston Bomber; the feds notably didn't put guns on top of trucks during that, despite actively chasing an armed terrorist. There's literally no need for this it's solely for the strong man optics.

Cheeky footnotes are just...like a cultural thing with academic footnotes, I've done it everyone I know that has written like that has done it.

Basically, it's an indiscernible amalgam of 1 through 4, oftentimes with a recency bias multiplier.

They have to share a city with Gritty and honestly even if they wanted to go, I'd fear reprisal from the GOAT of sports mascots.

Trick question! I pick the unseen economic forces that allowed all of them to exist in tandem.

Even if the DM never acts on the information, other players can work that information into their stories/interactions with the character as well.

The US has historically not been great in the "heavily wooded nation insurgency war" stat on their trading card.

I'd argue if it was 'a joke' to 'own the libs' it actually makes it a MORE authentic Nazi salute vs a less authentic one.

Almost all of my characters are manifestations of my problems, with narrative means to address them. I don't view this as a 'self-insert' because the characters usually exist to talk to just one specific part/problem of mine and everything else about them is the structure that facilitates that

I don't feel the opinions ARE randomly sampled; they got shopping for a person with the opinion they are looking to give air to, then frame the article around that.

"bypassing traditional milestones" is a funny way of saying that most of us can't afford to buy a house with multiple jobs, won't have children because we can't afford them, most of our degrees are useless, and we are the poorest generation among all current living generations

Can't imagine this case will continue under the new administration unfortunately. Kinda a slap in the face it came now, versus in 2020.

For me it suffer from the same syndrome ranger does where the theming is too heavily baked into the features. That being said breaking from that theming has given me a few of my most memorable characters.

It's impossible to keep up when the right can just lie and it becomes the left's job to do the intellectual heavy lifting to disprove them.
