Cheers, these layouts are designed to fit into a pair of floor to ceiling bookshelves I have to act as oversized book-nooks. Picture it as a couple shelves of books and trinkets broken up by model railways or warhammer collections. I don't have much of a youtube presence yet, -

Some of these techniques. I slowly built my own style combining a lot of different things together. Eventually I took it back to railway modelling and tried implementing it. While its not realistic, I love having the whole scene in a consistent styled.

Cheers, it might be my painting style. My style is influenced by wargaming and fantasy decoration painting. Lots of chunky highlights, shadows, alternating colours, zigzagging paint strokes, and lots of texture. That and I primarily model freelance and protolance

It most definetly is. Everything on Crannog is inspired by simpler narrow gauge kitbashes and pugbashes. The brakevan is a BR 20ton brakevan cut down in length and width. Dredger is a Dapol and Airfix pug and TT Hornby B4. And Crannog Rose is a Eggerbahn 0-4-0 with an airfix pug cab.

Cheers! Its still got a fair bit to go, but I hope it can get even cuter. A little wooden trestle pier and a chimney between the two industrial buildings should make for a nicer appearance. Plus doors on each of the "hobbit holes"

If it had joined Twain Shores, it would have received the rollingstock two-tone livery. Instead its now a WD loco built from an unfinished North British mallet and wartime 8f spares. Used as a propaganda piece it eventually finds its way to the LMR for articulated loco training.

You are right on the money. The initial plan was for it to find itself in the private ownership of Twain Shores to assist trains from the basin of the valley up onto the regular level above the cliff faces. After a lot of thought however I decided to opt for almost a dozen rope worked inclines
