I am pleased to report that while I'm not 100 percent, more like 50-60, but I do have a right foot again. Thank you doctor for the agonizingly painful, but ultimately very helpful corticosteroid shot ✌️ Rest up everyone, we made it to the weekend! Take those meds if needed and good night 💙💚

Good morning. I uhhh...I went to my podiatry office and got a cortisone shot in my foot and while it will get better over the next could if days, holy FUCK was it painful. An injection RIGHT into the swollen joint is not recommended. Don't get gout 🫩😭

We'll have to wait a week for my wife's ultrasound results. In the meantime I am suffering every bad thing I've ever eaten in my right foot today. Had to drive kiddo to school, come home, then 2 hours later drive my wife to the hospital, go home, come back, then go get kiddo from school. Yay gout 😭🫩

My wife has been going through it in terms of feeling shitty and having symptoms for almost a year. She messaged her pcp who ordered bloodwork and an ultrasound, for which we will owe almost $500 out of pocket... She said "I hope its not cancer. We couldn't afford treatment." Fuck this country.

I need to do better with my health and eating. Gonna be 40 in a couple of years and that's when shit can get real PDQ. I pitched almost half of a cake I should've never bought and I very much need to get with it in terms of portions and diet in general. No vegetarian or vegan here, just better 😮‍💨

I was an adult today for sure. I renewed my vehicle registration, paid my Quest lab billing, took and picked up my daughter from school, and worked my full time job. Time for my croissant cheeseburger with provolone cheese, lettuce, and a dill pickle slice with tater tots 🔥

I got a small pick me up just now. A friend of mine from college makes music that he puts on spotify and such, but there's this one song that he made that he doesn't really like, but I love. He never posted it anywhere, but as a wedding present, he gave me a thumb drive with the song. Love it 🥰🥰

A dish my mom and I affectionately called "mush". Its just rice steamed in water with chicken better than bouillon along with muxed veggies, and chicken with Italian seasoning olive oil and pepper. I also throw in pecorino romano grated cheese for some goodness.
