Not sure if this is just run of the mill corruption or if the White House is haunted by Nixon’s ghost and he won’t leave until he is publicly rehabilitated.

Do I believe this will be the final result? Not really. Is it shockingly possible something close to this happens? Yes. (I can vouch for Victoria’s model also because it only had one miss in the Senate map in 2024 and nobody saw PA flipping coming)

Just finished Monsters: An Investigator’s Guide to Magical Beings. I thought this was a neat occultist dive into parapsychology and high strangeness. I did find John Michael Greer overly dogmatic (not shocking from him) but 4.5 stars Mooch found the scent interesting. #WitchSky #reading

My new creative writing project is going well-currently 18 pages in. It’s a story about a man who was tasked with reversing the apocalypse from a cabin where he is totally safe as long as he doesn’t leave but what he wasn’t told is what other odd things go along with the benefit…

I am not a Christian and as such do not place much stock in the notion of the Antichrist. That said if the Antichrist was real, he’d do shit just like this.

Just finished Proxima by Stephen Baxter. I wanted to like this book more than I did. The story at once feels bloated and slow, with characters that lack depth and pacing that turned an interesting premise into a slog. 2.75 stars, big disappointment. #BookSky #reading
