Amazon never mailed out my copy of Fortune's Weave, so I'm just cancelling and picking it up at Walmart I guess :P

First week back to school has been survived. Very exhausting, but fingers crossed the tech issues will be much less next week.

I have solved an issue that has been plaguing our smart boards at work for the last two years and I have never felt so powerful.

I still need to finish my XC2 replay before XC3 gets it's update...

For the last like two weeks someone has been trying to call my work phone and they never leave a message and when I call back I get nothing. It's really weird.

IT'S FREAKING MASSIVE OH MY GOD I LOVE IT.

Love getting into work only for the whole network to be down.

WildCard @wi1dcard.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

After a stressful and long day, my dad decided to take me out for some KPot. Feels good to just chill out and eat good.

010

WildCard @wi1dcard.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

so apparently I just get to keep these and get a new plush. cool.

WildCard @wi1dcard.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

Hopefully once things settle down, I can get back to the grind in Pokemon. I had a good team going in Champions, but this summer has been so busy that I stopped playing. It'll be interesting to see what shifts with the new megas.

000

WildCard @wi1dcard.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

Also I totally didn't forget to open this app :)

Last week I managed to get ahead of things and significantly reduced my workload for this week. Kids come into school next week, so there's still a lot to be done, but time-sensitive things are at a minimum!

It's crunch time at work and yet I still have trouble falling asleep until past midnight. Maybe I should start taking melatonin, but last time I did that, I woke up feeling like I hadn't slept and had a horrible headache.

Man. My motivation to do much of anything is just... Gone. Having this stressor of my wrong order ticket not being responded to in 5 days is really weighing on my mind.

Going on 24 hours since an update to my ticket so this is going greaaaaaaaat

I know I have a baby face, especially when I don't have my glasses, on but being mistaken for a teenager is still really odd.

So, Pokemon Center support has been very fickle about what I need to provide. I needed to provide a picture of what I received and the shipping label in one photo, but the label was in poor condition. So they settled for the order confirmation email and the products. I got 8 plush instead of 1 so...

Oh... That... That's not what I ordered...

I have a package waiting for me at home and really want to go home and open it.

Today is off to a really slow start it seems lol. I thought it was almost lunch. It's not even 10.

I'm very glad I was able to have dinner with my mom tonight. Earlier this week I found out I'd have to run a concert tonight, and I was worried I'd have to miss this. Thankfully, setup and sound check went smooth and I was able to make time to spend an hour with my mom, dad, and brother.

I killed an enemy 10 levels higher than me after accidentally pulling it up while salvaging and I got a core chip from it. Now I'm steamrolling everything. Oops.

I'm actually making an effort to fill out all the affinity charts in Xenoblade 2 this time around. It's a bit of a hassle, but being able to manipulate my levels at the inn at least prevents me from being over leveled.

Fluffy is funny as hell oh my god that was such a good show.

Vacation - START! Looking forward to having a weekend to just chill with two of my best friends at a resort, eat food that's terrible for me, bad financial decisions at the casino, cruise down the lazy river, and play games in the hotel.

My shoulder has really been bothering me lately, but I've completely put off getting it checked out until next week because my primary care doctor moved and his replacement is someone I know but doesn't start until next week.

WildCard @wi1dcard.bsky.social · 30/07/2026

At a tech conference for work and as expected, it's like 80% "check out our AI!" and I'm already tired of it.

You ever just think about something for a long time and then you make the realization of "Oh no, I'm obsessed with this now"

WildCard @wi1dcard.bsky.social · 24/07/2026

Every Xenoblade person I know is just LOSING it right now. God, I love these games.

They're just teasing us at this point. They know we want it. They HAVE to be doing SOMETHING THEY CAN'T KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH THIS YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME, MONOLITHSOFT.

First impressions of Splatoon Raiders after 2 hours: I love it! I actually started out on the normal difficulty and then bumped it up. I have yet to upgrade my HP. Damage go brrr. I'm interested to see how multiplayer functions, but most of my friends are busy or their games got delayed. Oomfs?

The best part of my summer hours being Mon-Thurs means I can play Splatoon Raiders all night on release day without caring about getting enough sleep for work on Friday

WildCard @wi1dcard.bsky.social · 20/07/2026

Being tech support for my friends over text chat and screenshots is certainly a choice I've made. :P

I need to learn to put Discord on do not disturb when I'm playing games that required focus because I got spam messaged by 3 people while I was in the middle of a match in Granblue VS.

A friend of mine just got a Switch 2 today, so you already know I sent them a code for Xenoblade 1 DE. I'll definitely be giving them X too.
