My house with newly installed solar/battery system. The last six weeks my house has gotten 99.5% of its electricity from solar and is exporting excess back to the grid.

Suburban Wisconsin home, colonial two story, tan with white trim, a nice yard, big patio, and fifteen solar panels on the roof.

Here’s a picture of tomatoes and herbs I’ve had good luck with. Basil does well too. I’ve had slightly raised beds but native soil and lots of compost. My garden is on the west side of my house so only about 6 hours of direct sunlight per day.

Tomato and herb plant cards:

Tomatoes: celebrity, sweet 100, tomatoberry, Roma plum, sugar rush.

Herbs: Italian parsley, curled parsley and rosemary.

My solar installation, there’s more on the inside than the outside. A little delay because of a question with WE Energies on where to locate the outside power disconnect. But, we got a go head after consulting with a WE Energies engineer. Hopefully up and running by Wednesday next week.

AT&T is laying buried conduit in my neighborhood in preparation for fiber optic. Today they were working in my backyard. Made a big hole and pulled orange conduit. AT&T services here have been so behind the times. Hopefully there will be some price/capability competition with Spectrum now.
