In retrospect, that episode six years ago, along with BORTAC's role in suppressing protests in Portland, Oregon, and guarding federal facilities in Seattle, Buffalo, and San Diego, during the George Floyd uprising in summer 2020, prefigured the violent deployments of BORTAC and SRT to Minneapolis, Chicago, and Los Angeles over the past year.BORTAC's tactics have drawn countless lawsuits. How people are finding gas masks....(reviews and where to buy them in the article) "I also strongly suspect that the mask is not adequate protection against the particulates in tear gas from a health standpoint - I didn't have a normal period for six months after the 2020 protests."

DAO 202-315

This is to provide notification that I am

terminating you from the position of a federal service consistent with the above references.

On January 13, 2025, the agency appointed you
to the position of Meteorologist. As documented on
your appointment Standard Form 50 (SF-50),
your
appointment is subject to the completion of a
probationary/trial period. The agency also
informed you of this requirement in the job
opportunity announcement for the position.

Guidance from the Office of Personnel
Management ("OPM") states, "An
appointment is not final until the probationary
period is over," and the probationary period
is part of "the hiring process for employees." (1)

Thanks for opening the piece to everyone. "Every child a world" Regardless of how I feel about Israel's war crimes in Gaza/Palestine, & I have many feels, I'll never get past what Hamas et al did to children on & post 7.10, even if IDF ultimately killed them.
Segment from the link above.

"I might, very gently, remind you
that Hamas- an unreliable
narrator, without doubt- has been
asserting consistently that the
Bibas family was killed by Israeli
airstrikes in November, 2023. And
the Netanyahu government-
another unreliable narrator- has
refused to confirm or conclusively
deny this. So, again, as Rabbi
Hugenholtz notes: Complicated.
Grief.

The loss is real, regardless. Their
deaths horrific, no matter how."Another segment from the shared link

"So: On Oct 12, 2023, my first words
after this cycle of horrors began, I
wrote, "Nobody's children should
be killed. Nobody's."' That's still
always, always true

These babies, this mother, this
elder should have lived, no matter
what. There is nothing that
justifies their deaths.

And it is simultaneously true that
the Palestinian infants, toddlers,
children murdered in bombings
by freezing, by hunger do not
matter less than these babies.

Not a single one matters less

Every child, a world..."

I'm demanding answers from the Immigration and

Rodden's racist, xenophobic, and outright white

posting to his burner X account. Examples of
statements made by James Rodden, ICE Chief

Please use alt text to make your posts accessible to everyone. Thanks. Image with alt text: Exchange between DOJ attorney and Judge regarding pronoun usage in the military.
REYES: Can we agree that the greatest fighting force... is not going to be impacted in any way by less than 1 percent of the soldiers using a different pronoun than others might want to call them?

DOJ ATTORNEY: I can't agree with that here.

REYES: Would you agree with me that if our military is negatively impacted in any kind of way that matters... We all have a lot bigger problems than pronoun use. We have a military that is incompetent. Any common sense rational human being knows that it doesn't.

It is pretext. It is frankly ridiculous. If you want to get me an officer of the U.S. military who is willing to get on the stand and say that because of pronoun usage the U.S. military is less prepared because of pronoun usage. I will be the first to give you a box of cigars.

Yes. But from reading the free piece they are "paused" w/intention of a resuming. (Who knows if this will happen) But the OP implied all NPS parks will be closed, behind a hard to access article. I thought it was an attempt at even more nefarious actions before finding an easy access piece.

Sorry.
The reservation system is shut
down, EMT personnel are gone

can clean the bathrooms or
cabins, so they'll be closed.

immediate action.

THE WHITE HOUSE

This concern applies urgently to America's
children. In 2022, an estimated 30 million
children (40.7 percent) had at least one health
condition, such as allergies, asthma, or an
autoimmune disease. Autism spectrum disorder
now affects 1 in 36 children in the United States
- astaggering increase from rates of 1 to 4 out
of 10,000 children identified with the condition
during the 1980s. Eighteen percent of late
adolescents and young adults have fatty liver
disease, close to 30 percent of adolescents are
prediabetic, and more than 40 percent of
adolescents are overweight or obese,

These health burdens have continued to
increase alongside the increased prescription of
medication. For example, in the case of
Attention Deficit Disorder/Attention Deficit
Hyperactivity Disorder, over 3.4 million children
are now on medication for the disorder - up
from 3.2 million children in 2019-2020 - and the
number of children being diagnosed with the
condition continues to rise.

This poses a dire threat to the American people
and our way of life. Seventy-seven percent of

Alt text for OP: "The Stonewall Inn and The Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative are outraged and appalled by the recent removal of the word transgender" from the Stonewall National Monument page on the National Park Service website." Check out Will's timeline for protest info.
The Stonewall Inn and The Stonewall Inn
Gives Back Initiative are outraged and
appalled by the recent removal of the
word transgender" from the Stonewall
National Monument page on the National
Park Service website. This blatant act of
erasure not only distorts the truth of our
history, but it also dishonors the
immense contributions of transgender
individuals -especially transgender
women of color - who were at the
forefront of the Stonewall Riots and the
broader fight for LGBTQ+ rights.Let us be clear: Stonewall is transgender
history. Marsha P. Johnson, Sylvia Rivera,
and countless other trans and gender-
nonconforming individuals fought
bravely, and often at great personal risk,
to push back against oppressive systens.
Their courage, sacrifice, and leadership
were central to the resistance we now
celebrate as the foundation of the
modern LGBTQ+ rights movementThis decision to erase the word
transgender' is a deliberate attempt to
erase our history and marginalize the
very people who paved the way for many
victories we have achieved as a
community. It is a direct attack on
transgender people, especially
transgender women of color, who
continue to face violence, discrimination,
and erasure at every turn.

SIGBIWe demand the immediate restoration
of the word transgender on the
Stonewall National Monument website
We will not stand by while the legacies
of our transgender siblings are erased
from the history books. The Stonewall
Inn and The Stonewall Inn Gives Back
Initiative stands unwaveringly in
solidarity with the transgender
community and all who fight for full
equality, and we will not rest until this
grave injustice is corrected.

I'm so sorry. ❤️‍🩹 Here is one document in that archived piece I posted. I can't figure out how to post the link but if you click on the word circled in red below in the Business Insider piece gives you a specific list suggested by WMC. But Politico is reporting they're still negotiating.
The blueprint draft called for at least $880 billion in
spending cuts from the House Energy and Commerce
Committee over the next decade. This would likely mean
large Medicaid cuts, potentially leading many Americans to
lose their benefits. A Ways and Means Committee
document outlining reconciliation options reveals over $2
trillion in potential Medicaid cuts, though some could
overlap
