Tropes @why-bother.bsky.social · 14hGH needs a great young villainess. I hope she has a short stint in Ferncliff or ShadeyBrook faking it like Carly when she shot Tony eons ago. Willow went from dull to an 80s soap villainess who will get revenge doing anything to keep her kids. Children are always the best defense. #GeneralHospital 000
Tropes @why-bother.bsky.social · 07/10/2026I get dragging closeted scum from Hell like lawmaker Lindsey G who used his power against LGBTQ+ people. Tropes @why-bother.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Eden McCoy has done *great* work with the material on General Hospital. Joss has consistently progressed, emerging from a mini-Carly into a fully developed adult character. 👏 👏 👏 #GH 000

Tropes @why-bother.bsky.social · 26/09/2026I already love Blythe Howard as Monet. I'm glad she's Jordan's sister, expanding Tanisha Harper's onscreen family. They both have the family beauty genes, yet very different personalities. #GH 000
Tropes @why-bother.bsky.social · 25/09/2026BTW, soaps should qualify, as each year = a season of hardworking actors, crew, writers and everyone BTS to put out a dramatic TV show all year long and not dumped in with the other genres listed. Millionaires in congress (Reps AND Dems) will always be m*****f*****s. Don't f**k with soap fans. 000
Tropes @why-bother.bsky.social · 25/09/2026Soaps are the longest running entertainment in TV history. So many talented actors who could run rings around streamers, primetime and films that don't produce - under soaps already severe budget cuts - 250 episodes EVERY. DAMN. YEAR. Soaps have NEVER been given the respect they DESERVE. #GH 000

Tropes @why-bother.bsky.social · 19/09/2026GH has been adding new actors/characters, but they are replacing many characters written out. Out: Jacinda, Jack, Cassius, Callum, Kristina, Marco, Maxie, Willow (so far, temporarily). Sidwell (back-burner). In: Joe, Baines, Serena, Hudson, Tristan, Monet, Jude, SORAS Scout. #stayingpositive #GH 000
Tropes @why-bother.bsky.social · 19/09/2026I'm still disappointed Chris is gone. Such great chemistry with Cynthia. I don't think it was anticipated, but his death was already planned. I'm accepting it as part of the continuing WSB saga which wiped the slate of Sidwell (now sidelined), Callum, Nathious, and now Jack. GH 000
Tropes @why-bother.bsky.social · 19/09/2026Keeping positive, I hope the numerous new characters integrated with our faves, will continue connecting different stories and characters, esp the WSB plot. Tropes @why-bother.bsky.social · 08/09/2026But I ain't one to gossip. 😉 I'm not alleging #Eastenders has BTS issues. The return, writing, and how things played out was odd. I've never warmed to Jas. Digging deep into her issues may have helped. The same problem with Joel. Dialogue with contrived desperation fails to make me feel empathy. 230
Tropes @why-bother.bsky.social · 08/09/2026ITA about Zoe. A big #Eastenders return, was on a LOT with a repeteive plot. After all Jas did and Josh arriving, the show excluded her from a story with her twins. US soaps = red flags with appearance cut backs during a limited run. US EPs have unnecessarily, or vindictively killed off characters. 220

Tropes @why-bother.bsky.social · 06/09/2026I hate Drew. The "Locked-in" is sadly over. GH finally has me tolerating Drew, leveling up from obnoxious himbo scum to vengeful annoying scum. Baby steps.
