Now you can opt out of having your posts shown to non-followers in the Discover feed. We know not everyone wants to go viral. Sometimes you're just posting for your followers. This is one of a few updates we're working on to give you more control over your experience and help you find your people.

Instructional image titled "Hide your posts from non-followers in Discover" accompanied by a screenshot of the "privacy and security" options from the Bluesky settings menu. "Ask apps to hide my posts from algorithmic recommendations" is toggled to the "on" state.

Some folks treat WOLxNPC ships like this and it generally concerns me.

vani🐬🍒 @whxmsy.bsky.social · 01/08/2026

this last relic step wasnt quite as bad as previous steps but it still took like over 8 hours total @_@ its done though and i dont rly mind if the relic grinds are a little more tedious the first time through when u dont have to do them more than once

ffxiv players when the omega raids are just ff5 and ff6 bosses but they don't know because they don't touch any other final fantasy games

oh i have one more thought before i let it rest but if i see people praising the cuteness of face 4 fem miqo once you can turn the nose marking off after years of seeing ppl call it the worst face and ugly im gonna start hitting people. you dont deserve it

vani🐬🍒 @whxmsy.bsky.social · 25/07/2026

my real wish is eventually we get more options that arent just toggling things off though. i really want to see us get some new player faces that have the modeling standard new npcs get along with not needing to be held in comparison to the pre graphics update faces.

vani🐬🍒 @whxmsy.bsky.social · 25/07/2026

more broadly, people who will just turn the features off because its "unattractive"... makes me sad. i dunno! like i said though i think it'll ultimately be a boon especially if its making a framework for more toggleable customizations down the line.

vani🐬🍒 @whxmsy.bsky.social · 25/07/2026

like theres so many reasons you can come up with for why your character might not have a race typical feature but then the judgemental side of my brain is just bracing for 10000 clanmark-less miqo e-daters who do nothing but dance in limsa all day for whom lore isnt even a fleeting thought

vani🐬🍒 @whxmsy.bsky.social · 25/07/2026

at the end of the day i think more customization options are almost always gonna be a boon and i, hypocritically, probably will use these in making more ocs, but theres something about it that just feels wrong to me still and i cant really articulate what it is....

i feel very doomer anytime they announce any large content changes but its really hard for me to see who this difficulty mode is for especially until we know exactly what rewards you get and how long it takes to get them and how the difficulty compares to savage...

vani🐬🍒 @whxmsy.bsky.social · 25/07/2026

after the graphics update im pretty happy with evie's face so i doubt i will end up changing her but having the option to do so is nice AND ALSO I CAN MAKE HER PARENTS !!!!!!!
