My first tattoo! I really love it. It was uncomfortable getting it but not truly painful which helped me get through it! It is done in the style of a tattoo artist I found on instagram based in LA.

Two dinosaurs tattooed on an arm. One is a triceratops the other a stegosaurus type. They also have the numbers 24 and 81 on them in reference to the romance book Heated Rivalry.

So for Halloween at the Library, I want to the kids to make a mini habitat but the only Halloween theme I can think of is graveyard which probably not the best choice for ages kindergarten and up. Any other fun themes I could use?

A mini tin which someone has created a mini habitat of two plastic ducks in a pond surrounded by a butterfly and natural elements like rocks and leaves.

Okay, I learned something awesome. I know of pysanky but I had no idea of its Minneapolis connection! She immigrated to the US and eventually settled in Minneapolis. I also really had no idea the Ukranian culture ran so deeply in Minneapolis! This would be a lovely Easter gift for a child. #KidLit

Does anyone out there know how to fix my AWE early literacy station screen so the images fill it again? A child pressed all kinds of buttons and I don’t know how to get it back. Manual not helpful. #PublicLibraries #SaturdayLibrarian

I had the local state park naturalist come out to do a children’s program today and he brought a whole bunch of fun props including this adult moose hoof. I swear the picture doesn’t do it justice for how big it actually is!
