Honestly the biggest perk of Tactician is the laughs you get along the way. Like the legit working strategy for Myrkul is to blow up Gale and go for a lunch for 40-ish minutes while the fight resolves itself. x) I'm glad DOS2 left such an impact, it's a wonderful game. <3

As for my own reasons, it's not that I stubbornly refuse. But I play games for my own fun, and said fun is unique to every person. For me, nothing I've seen of GW3 makes me think I'd have fun (player characters being a big part of said fun for me), so I'm doing what you state - enjoying GW2. :)

That is honestly entirely fair, and I do hope that if such a thing were to happen (a big IF, the scenario is unlikely), it would be for the reason you state, and not just trying to have their cake and eat it (many game devs fell down that pitfall, and I don't recall a case where it ended well).

After a certain point, it's no longer meeting in the middle, it's trampling over why people like a thing in the first place. Which will not only attract most of them, it will actively make them angry. So at that point, it feels more worth it to just stick to bears or making up a new species.

No worries, friend, I'm hard to offend. I'd still counter your argument, however. I get meeting in the middle (and if it was "GW1 anatomy charr", people would probably be more okay with it), but if the aim is to keep the shape the same, we're looking at essentially a khajiit. Which is not charr.

Problem is, in order to fix what is mostly being a headache for the dev team, the GW3 charr would have to be plantigrade and shorter by the neck. If they're not, the silhouette still makes stuff hard to implement, even if you straighten their backs. And that point, it's no longer charr.

Honestly? "Sequel to Skyrim" doesn't sound at all appealing. Because I keep coming back to Skyrim to discover and play around with all the wonderful mods like yours and many others that throw surprises at every corner. Mod-less Bethesda games are really not really all that fun.

Olmakhan are considerably more modern (somehow, despite electing to live in barely-cobbled-together shacks) and only split off the Legions fairly recently – around the time of Kalla's rebellion, i.e. post Guild Wars 1 on the timeline.

I'm not too worried about that. FFXIV works on PlayStation just fine, and that one has a control scheme three magnitudes more complicated than GW2. (GW2 would be really easy to port to console, control-scheme wise).
