Part of why I love #rustlang is due to its tools. Setting things up with Cargo is just so straightforward and smooth compared to something like cmake with C++ 😂

I have been doing things asynchronously without realizing it. I make my coffee and let it simmer for 4 minutes. During that 4 minutes I prepare the bread, apply avocado on it, And make Milo for my wife. And that's usually within 4 minutes so I can get back to the coffee then. Hot damnnnn

If someone asks me why I like Rust so much, it's because in addition to it's performance, - no null or undefined - compile time error checking And I'm using it for things like: - web backend - TUI/GUI apps - lambda functions - embedded development - robotics And that's why I'm bullish on it 😂

Less than 30 minutes into Onshape (1st time user) and I already got the basic shape of my chassis done. Just need to cater for a few more holes for charging the robot's battery, the power switch and maybe the other ports on the Raspberry Pi. Onshape is pretty easy to get into! #robotics

Alright so I'm currently building my own simple mobile robot to learn and I'm currently at the stage of building the chassis. Turns out just using a plastic box isn't that ideal. Looks like I'll be jumping into learning how to design a 3D CAD body and printing it lol Wish me luck folks 😂

So right now I'm actually building a simple mobile robot for the 1st time. I'm using Raspberry Pi as the main computer paired with various Arduino Uno's with a few sensors. My question: has anyone used Arduino Uno's and compared them with something like ESP32-S3? Which do you feel is better?

I use A.I I don't use it the way you think I do. I don't use it to code. I prefer to build the things I build in a deterministic way (A.K.A by myself). I use A.I as a component for use-cases that make sense (e.g conversational/interactional services via LLMs). Yes we do exist 😆

I can't believe I have to do this but this is your daily reminder that algorithms have existed decades before the so-called "A.I" that many A.I hype bros claim run Threads behind-the-scenes. Not all algorithms are A.I but A.I do certainly run on them. Hope that helps.
