Coyote vs. Acme (2026) Movies watched this year: 24 I didn't expect this movie to be great, and it frankly isn't. But finally seeing it after years in Legal Purgatory, it's a solid movie. I thought the slapstick was pretty funny, and it's kinda like if Space Jam had a point.

Resident Evil (2026) Movies watched this year: 22 Really good watch, it's very much a journey through Raccoon City just like you would in one of the games, and the transition to film is very well done. If I had one complaint, it's a little too comedic instead of campy.

God Mazinger (1984) Manga read this year: 6 Pretty neat! I can't help but feel the ending was a little rushed, and a lot of the characters felt unnecessary, but for what it's worth there was a lot of brutal violence and that's always cool.

UFO Robot Grendizer (1975) Manga read this year: 5 The titular robot is a downgrade, the villains are less interesting (with exception of Barendos), the Mazingers are there but literally never fight unless against Grendizer, this whole thing is mid. And Saucer Beasts are STUPID

Great Mazinger (1974) Manga read this year: 4 Yeah I don't know about this one. Kouji, Sayaka, and Dr. Yumi are written out and replaced with 3 completely identical characters as if they've always been there. It's a shame this is lame because I really do like Great's design.

Mazinger Z (1973) Manga read this year: 3 A fun little read. The main trio are very fun together and the villains are also a treat to watch. It kinda just, ends though. Not even in a Getter -> Getter G way it's just stops.

Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE (2023) Games beaten this year: 20 It's a solid mystery game, but if you're looking for a suitable successor to Danganronpa, you might be a little disappointed here. The mysteries aren't as elaborate, and the cast is a little underutilized.
