Just a reminder: We’re entering the six-month mark of the year, and the stock markets are still underwater. Every day the markets don’t show a gain, it’s a loss. Inflation is currently around 3% — that’s the rate at which you’re losing money. Is 47 a financial genius? All evidence to the contrary.

Before MAGA takes credit for the new inflation report, remember this: Inflation goes down when people stop spending. That is not good. Unlike under Biden, when real job and wage growth stimulated more spending, under 47 unemployment is stagnant, spending is down, and the economy is contracting.
