A little OC interaction comic I drew a year ago! #FFXIV #FFXIVART

An Miqo'te taking a close-up photo of an Au Ra.The camera is held very close to her face.

A close-up photo of the Au Ra’s face fills the frame. The photo is a little awkward because the camera is too close, making the shot look slightly distorted.

A comic panel showing the Au Ra looking sad and teary-eyed

- moonphase waltz with me - #AlhyaBlahaj

A picture of Alhya, seemingly dancing amongst a dark forest lit up by blue crystals. Aside from the usual wings attached to their neck, the Seeker has pairs of wings hiding their eyes and poking from their back. Small blue lights, perhaps reminiscent of fireflies, are floating around one of Alhya's side, almost as if guided by them. A simple, pale halo is drawn around their form.

Another angle from the shot described in the previous image. Alhya is still dancing, but striking a different pose than previously. The same fireflies and halo are present, though placed differently.

Another angle from the shot described in the first image. Striking yet another pose, this shot is more zoomed in onto Alhya's face. Again, the same fireflies and halo can be observed.

The image depicts bright contrasting colors with aberration and noise. Lennox is wiping away blood from his face with his gun holding hand while walking somewhere towards the viewer. Behind him is a larger more visually disturbed version of him and the text says "Did you know the brain can itch?" which is a reference to the Empty Man, a quote which suggests self awareness on a level that may be concerning or disorienting when deciding what self awareness means or an obsession

a framed image of hanneli, a midlander with long dark hair. there are multiple versions of her face melded together within the frame, slowly becoming one. the main face looks at the viewer with an upset expression. on the right side of the frame, a lone calla lily sits.

lets not even get into iden's relationship with zenos. ofc we fuck freaks in this house but that long winded ramble is for another day.

then alisaie can grow up either humbled by her brother's sacrifice and creates a new generation of scions, or she becomes a hardened, bitter alcoholic and hitman. both are fun.

parasite apologist 🪱🍄 @whisperworms.bsky.social · 21/07/2026

only alisaie knows the truth, and after being forced back with the transporter she tries to explain iden wasnt the villain and that he took the scions' sacrifices seriously, but the world wanted a scapegoat to keep the image of hydaelyn as the benevolent mother who did nothing wrong.

parasite apologist 🪱🍄 @whisperworms.bsky.social · 21/07/2026

luckily iden chooses not to side with meteion even with the promise of rest and acceptance he couldnt get on eitherys, and saves a world that did not care for him. he knows he cant return because everyone would blame him for the death of the scions and it would be best if they believed he died too.

100

parasite apologist 🪱🍄 @whisperworms.bsky.social · 21/07/2026

i debate on whether i want the scions (sans alisaie) to have died in ultima thule. they made their sacrifice not out of faith in iden but with uncertainty that iden would do the right thing, knowing that regardless, only he would be able to do it. it was equal parts a heroic and a desperate gamble.

100

parasite apologist 🪱🍄 @whisperworms.bsky.social · 21/07/2026

zerrin's relationship with the scions is a little better, they at least respect him, but he has issue with everyone treating iden as a weapon at best and a monster at worse. he's guilty of it too, but he ends up being the most well adjusted of them all by the end

100

parasite apologist 🪱🍄 @whisperworms.bsky.social · 21/07/2026

my hydaelyn is uhhhh deeply flawed, as are the rest of the scions, and they dont really have a good relationship with iden. i dont want it to come off as trying to be edgy, i just like being able to play with very complicated characters even if they are in the roles of heroes

100

parasite apologist 🪱🍄 @whisperworms.bsky.social · 21/07/2026

zerrin was a threat to that plan because he was someone who could love iden even with all iden's flaws and their turbulent past with each other. they cant end up together because god wont allow it. doomed and toxic yaoi.

100

parasite apologist 🪱🍄 @whisperworms.bsky.social · 21/07/2026

at his core iden is a creature of emotion, and as much as he hated everything he was put through he still wanted to belong and be loved. it gave hydaelyn easy strings to pull to get him to do what she wanted in the end because she believed the sacrifice of one would save the lives of many.

100

parasite apologist 🪱🍄 @whisperworms.bsky.social · 21/07/2026

iden and zerrin are both shards of azem but only iden was chosen to be the flagship wol because hydaelyn had mixed a bit of the meteia into him in order to try and fight fire with fire if the final days were to come, and she knew zerrin wouldn't have been so easily manipulated
