The real question is what sort of military does the United States actually need for defense, not offensive force projection of an imperial power? Which is the wars in both Iraq and Iran as well as most US military actions since WW2. Maybe the entire plan not matter how one funds it is evil.

Centrists support a status quo for themselves and any thing that helps them personally. They don't care who gets "comprised" for their status. Not that they are actively out to hurt like Republicans, centrists are ultimately just indifferent to the pain of others.

I also remember when my Democratic Representative AIPAC funded Jason Crow voted to remove federal funding for those students. The inability to respect free speech is why I left the Democratic Party. I have deep contempt towards Rep. Crow to this day and his support of Genocide.
