Last weekend I celebrated my birthday and while my buddy Michael already gave me a gift he drew my favorite bestest boy Excadrill that same afternoon. It is so cool, so obviously I had to frame it for my wall.

I'm in awe of Digger. Said "wait what?!" multiple times while watching. Adored the ending and its framing. It might be a tad overindulgent but my god when it hits, it hits like an oil tanker. Also the sound design of this film is astounding. A treat to see it in a cinema.

In awe of how fun and well done a film Resident Evil (2026) is. Such a phenomenal balance between horror, comedy and a bit of drama. With body horror that is just magnificent and the true feel of a video game in movie form. This is truly how adaptation should be handled.

That's a wrap on The Blood of Dawnwalker. Perhaps some of my favorite quests- and character writing in a game in quite some time. I loved untangling the web of mysteries and getting immersed in this wonderful medieval fantastical world. Truly one of the best games of the year for me.

Every second during the Level-5 Showcase I was being reminded how Gen-AI-pilled that studio seems now. Each presentation segment in between the games reeked of slop. While the gameplay did look fun for some of these. And then they show a Professor Layton Curious Village Remaster.

With all the goodwill tossed out in less than a year. What possible reason is there to even consider picking up a PS6? Tossing out exclusives, trapping customers in more and more required expensive subscriptions, and a ceiling on fidelity unless you want to play just GTA for a decade.

Been playing The Blood of Dawnwalker for about 4.5h and I'm not quite sure if I just suck at combat, or don't understand the skill trees or am doing something wrong but I haven't had this many game overs in a row in years. Onimusha took me less effort than some small enemy camps here...
