Hello everyone. This is a formal message regarding the shut down of Fruitea team. We were delighted to have served every one of our customers some of our best drinks available but there is only so much one can do. Below are some parting words from the staff of Fruitea.

3 of our members on Fruitea participated in SOS with Jelly and Plus today and managed to get top 8 in Great White! We managed to take a lot of good games even against a +2 team! Good games to all teams today!

I had the absolute privilage of commentating these matches today and they're absolutely some of the best matches I've been blessed to see. I'm incredibly hopeful in Clamity to make it far and push further past Grass Roots into new horizons

even then shot wasnt even that bad to begin with, the buff was unneeded imo, it should have really focused on making 52 a weapon with a better drawback other than it doesn't paint as much like giving it worse rng or changing how quickly it can change from swim to human form

020

Wilds @whilds.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

Shot isn't really ever going to counter 52 nor contest well against it because shot doesnt deal with wall well. Shot shouldn't be able to be the better choice of shooters but it should be adaptable out of the other 2 main shooters (Splash for paint, 52 for kills, shot for both)

110

Wilds @whilds.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

52 has a survivability tool in wall and HP is big in the meta rn, 52 is drastically overtuned for a weapon that can two shot and needs to have a better drawback other than filling a rushdown heavy playstyle which leads to less overall paint

110

Wilds @whilds.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

shot is supposed to be the middle ground of all shooters, its designed to be basic and fit into different jobs at any time, if you want more paint you go splash, if you want kills you go 52, shots designed to be basic and I doubt giving it a slight range buff would do much to counter 52 as a whole

Stringer is such a fun weapon to play, I wanna play more stringers in comp

like, this is actually the funniest thing imaginable, it's still in the same spot as it was back from s2 over 5 years later

040

Wilds @whilds.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

I'm so not gonna lie, Nintendo needs to take a really and I mean really good look at the game for the next patch. You cannot have 52 be still in the state it is in at the end game of splatoon 3, it has not recieved a single nerf in the entire 2 years this game has been active
