I thought I had 77 Hugs on my to do list. Turns out I miscounted. I have 80. 😂 🤦🏻‍♀️

Whiffahugs @whiffahugs.bsky.social · 28/08/2025

I have been drowning in work. It is work we are under contract for & aren’t allowed to talk about or show off yet. It makes for a very quiet social media feed. I can say this though- our first shipment of Hugs just showed up & our contract went from one month to six simply from opening the box.

Out with the old, in with the new. Alien Hugs are coming August 1st. whiffahugs.com

Photo shows five alien head Hugs in a circle. They are each a different color. Starting at the top and going clockwise the colors are blue, purple, red, orange, and green. The aliens each have two antenna on the top of their heads that are adorned in a matching shiny metallic fabric, and they all have large black glitter eyes. Each Alien Hug has a set of eye lines like eyebrows above the eyes stitched in metallic thread.

Each alien wants you to take them to your leader. As of right now, my leader is my coffee pot.

I *think* I am finally caught up on orders. Sorta. Customs are still a thing and “Project Pop” is still a thing but if anyone wants to grab any of the July Spotlight Hugs before I swap them for August, now would be a good time to do so. whiffahugs.com

This little Succulent Hug is proving to be quite popular. Now custom color requests are coming in. So fun!! Maybe we should turn him into a coloring page? 🤔

Photo shown a small plant like plushie of a succulent in a terracotta colored pot. The pot has two eyes and a half smirk smile and two metallic pink circles for cheeks. The leaves of the plant are stacked in two rows of three. The bottom three leaves are various shades of purple accented with purple metallic threads running vertically along the leaves. The top row of leaves are various shades of green. The photo reads “Meet the Succulent” at the top.

Second photo shows a hand holding the same succulent plushie from the first photo.

While my regular customers keep me busy, it would be nice to expand a bit. Meta however has us shadow-banned for reasons we have yet to figure out. If you see this, could you help us spread the word? We would really appreciate it. Thank you and we hope joy finds you today.

Today I got a nice compliment from a stranger. “Oh you own Whiffahugs?! I’ve heard about you! The ER nurses I work with love you.” I am going to pretend they love my store and aren’t just talking about me because I am in the ER with Mom so much. 😂 We always take a Hug with us when we go.

Pumpkin the Hamster Hug just wanted to pop in and say hello and send her wishes for save travels for all those on vacation this weekend.

Photo shows a hand holding an adorable hamster plushie in cream and pumpkin colors. She has six whiskers, three on each side, and a tiny black embroidered nose. The nose is 100% boop worthy.

I’ve been bust making things. All of this is hand made and patterns are designed by me. All of it will be available for purchase throughout the entire month of July starting tomorrow. #pocketsize #plushie #essentialoildiffusers

Photo is a 9x9 grid of the new Hugs coming to the store tomorrow.

The top row from left to right: a small square graphic that reads “New Hugs”, followed by a cute pig head, then a full body crab plush.

Middle row from left to right: hamster Hugs, then donut Hugs, then jellybean Hugs.

Bottom row from left to right: a happy little potted succulent plant Hug, a white swan, then a black swan Hug.

All plushies are about the size of your hand and can fit easily into a pocket for discreet comfort on the go.

All Hugs are happy to see you. The pig is up to something though. I can see plans forming in her eyes. Be careful with that one. She seems mischievous.

Little #Hamster Hugs in progress. Hugs are hand held, pocket size plushies that double as essential oil diffusers providing discreet comfort on the go.

Photo shows a hamster plush in the process of being made. He’s a cream colored chunky boi with an impish smile and pumpkin color markings. He has an eagerness about him and looks like he is trying to tell you something. I tried asking him what he was up to but he kept quiet for some reason.

A heather gray version of a hamster plush being held together with binder clips. So much sass being displayed. I have never owned a hamster so I don’t really know what they eat, but these guys are so chunky I would hide your snacks just in case.

Up late working on Hugs that fit your hands better. Someone suggested Jellybean Hugs and I tried it. Darn it all if it isn’t perfect. The base of your thumb fits perfectly in the curve of the bean. It is so comfortable to hold and squeeze.

Photo shows a hand holding a jelly bean shaped plush in a pale teal color with two glittery spots on the top and a happy face in the middle.

This photo shows me squeezing the heck out of my new jellybean plush friend to show where and how it fits in your hand. It fits perfectly. Crazy when an idea comes together.

Customs are always a wild ride and this time is no exception. I don’t have all of the orders locked down yet, but so far we have a kidney Hug wearing a monocle, a leaf slug, a pet match, and multiple dragons. Can’t wait to see what else is coming from my “undecided” people. 😂

Round One of Wrist Huggers are loaded into the shop for pre-orders. They go live at 8pm CST TONIGHT in our Collector’s Corner. Time to get your Hug on! Literally. whiffahugs.com #wristcandy

Photo shows the previously described wrist huggers in a grid pattern. Rainbow Star and Sloth to the left, Moon, Dolphin and Dragon to the right.

Every single one of them looks sassy and up to no good. Self portraits in plush basically.

Working on a line of Wrist Huggers - the Hug that hugs you back. Rainbow star Hugger has entered the chat. 🥰 I couldn’t resist. Happy Pride everyone! #pride #rainbow #star #plushie #handmade

This one is hard to explain but I will do my best. Photo shows a hand holding a shooting star plushie in a backwards C shape. The star at the top is made with a metallic silver striped fabric and has two eyes and a crooked half smile. The star is joined to two clouds via a swooping metallic rainbow ombré arch. The clouds are covered in a tule that has hologram spots scattered across them and the spots are color changing. The clouds are accented with two metallic champaign stars and one hologram silver star.

Kind of feels like a reminder to shoot for your dreams.

Photo shows the same shooting star Hugger but now hanging from a wrist.

I actually love how tightly this one grips. I could wear it all day and it would never fall off. It is nice to know at least one thing in my life is secure.

Working on a line of Wrist Huggers - the Hug that hugs you back. Adding Moon Hugger to the collection. (stars glow in the dark) #moon #handmade #nightcap

Photo shows a hand holding a backwards C shaped cressent moon wearing a sleeping cap. The sleeping cap is a dark blue with gold stars and has a gold glitter brim with a glow in the dark star hanging from the tip. The moon is a light gray and has craters scattered across him. A second larger glow in the dark star sits on his back side. The moon should be sleeping but it is wide awake because someone gave him regular coffee instead of decaf.

Photo shows the same moon now wrapped around an arm looking like a little kid who knows they should be in bed but also thinks if they look cute enough they can stay up for five more minutes.

Sloth Wrist Hugger just joined the previously shown Dolphin and Dragon Huggers. #armcandy #sloth #hugme

Photo shows a hand holding a sloth curved in the shape of a backwards C. The sloth is munching on a leaf with his tongue sticking out. On his back he has more leaves that help to balance the weight of the plush. Pretty sure he knows the meaning of life but every time I ask him he just grins at me.

Photo shows the same sloth from the first photo wrapped around a wrist hugging it tight looking like he just found his new best friend and doesn’t want to let go. I think he is lonely.

Working on a line of Wrist Huggers - the Hug that hugs you back. #dragon #dolphin #hugs #sewing #handcrafted

Picture shows a hand holding a small dolphin plushie that is curved like a backwards C. Dolphin is a teal blue with a white glitter belly, blue glitter sparkles on his head and an impish smile that tells you he is really up to no good whatsoever.

The same dolphin from the first picture positioned on a freckled arm hugging the wrist of the arm like he is hanging on for dear life and he is just happy to be there.

Picture shows a hand holding a curved dragon in the shape of a backwards C. The dragon is yellow with a yello and white striped glitter belly. The wing is trimmed in gold and has a gold and silver crystal heart hanging from the tip. The dragon’s face is cute rather than fierce with rainbow glitter horns, gold freckles, and black eyelashes. She asked me to tell everyone that she loves ice cream. I don’t know why you needed to know this but she insisted.

Picture shows the yellow dragon perfectly hugging a wrist at the end of a freckled arm. The arm appreciates being hugged by the dragon. The arm has had a long day and needed a hug.

I love the Highland Cow Hugs. They are just so cute!

Picture shows a pair of scissors next to a needle holding brown thread as if to sew. Next to them lays the front half of a highland cow head plushie waiting to be finished. The only thing making a moo sound is the artist mooing at her own creation like a dork.

Text Reads: “I've been having so much fun doing a mixed media page with the water tracker sometimes journal
And considering I usually don't drink anything until noon or even until after 5pm (the busier the work day the less I drink) I'm really happy with myself for how many leaves I've colored!”

Photo shows the inside of a journal page with a coloring page drawing of sprawling leaves growing out of a potted plant with six leaves colored in.

picture shows a hand holding the front half of a green dragon pocket sized plush. The dragon is various shades of green and has a light green ribbon necklace holding a kelly green heart charm. The horn of the dragon is adorned with crystal beads and glitter metallic thread lines that almost look like webbing. The eye is hand painted with several shades of chunky and fine glitters.
