'Woke' is a matter of a human, sentient being finally perceiving life as something more than an animal. It is a Human setting itself free from the stupour of the animal entirely. Why is that so difficult to understand?

I prefer the terms conservative and progressive to conservative and liberal. It defines the true intent of the two mental states of madness. The conservatives seek to return to the past of the stupoured animal. The progressives look to a future in which humanity becomes wholly human. 1/3

Somewhere, there must be someone with a relevant thought.

"Education of the mind without education of the heart is no education at all." -Aristotle Three thousand years later we have not educated the heart. Think about it, if you can.

In the same vein as the last quote ... "When will the power of Love overcome the love of power." I know the answer to this one, also. Same answer, actually.

Another aphorism from Eleanor Roosevelt. "When will our consciences grow so tender that we will act to prevent human misery rather than avenge it." I know the answer to this one.

I looked for humanity's potential, found promise, and uncovered that which has prevented the human race from becoming sane. It doesn't need to remain that way. See link in profile.

Since aphorisms are so popular "One who asks a question feels like a fool for a moment. One who refuses to ask a question feels a fool for a lifetime." Or, a sentient race remains a fool for millennia.

When will we figure out that misogyny runs very close to the source of all of our problems?

It's funny, there's this phrase, "if it walks and talks like a duck..." It doesn't work if you substitute 'human' in the phrase.

Against all the evidence to the contrary, we can do better. Much better. Like night and day.

For three millennia, we have all been brainwashed into believing in dystopia. The dystopia that we endure can be gone in less than a century. Not by studying our navels. Not by picking sides in the dystopian games. By becoming wholly Human. sentienceww.blogspot.com

John Lennon's song Imagine annoys me. It takes a lot more than imagination. It takes a lifetime of observation, assimilation, questioning everything, leaps of insight, and a desperate desire for clarity to solve the riddle of what is wrong with humanity and suggest the only way it is resolved.
