Just learned Tim Curry passed away at 80. My favorite roles of his were in "Muppet Treasure Island" and "Clue". The man carried every movie he was in. May God rest his soul. R.I.P to another legend.

Dolly Parton rose from poverty to stardom. She gave $500 to every student in her hometown who finished high school; she built hospitals & bald eagle preserves; her Imagination Library has gifted 300 million books to children. Roger Ebert met her and came away thinking she was a literal angel. RIP.

“In Dallas for the premier of '9 to 5', I had an uncanny experience, and on the plane home to Chicago I confessed it to Siskel: I had been granted a private half hour with Dolly Parton, and as we spoke I was filled with a strange ethereal grace. This was not spiritual, nor was it sexual. It was healing and comforting. Gene listened and said, "Roger, I felt the exact same thing during my interview with her." We looked at each other. What did this mean? Neither one of us ever felt that feeling again. From time to time we would refer to it in wonder.”

Drew this after a dream I had today. (More in the alt text) #bibleverse #christian #illustration

In my dream, I was sitting on a beach, looking towards the eastern horizon.
Deeper inland, people were hyped about "building their own religious temples" or something like that; one woman came up to me and invited me to join, but I declined and told her I only follow Jesus Christ; she replied, "Oh, we have a temple for Him too!", but I still refused, and chose to stay on the beach, watching and knowing He will be returning soon.
A few people began to ridicule me for it, but they were chased off by my old dog, Ricky (R.I.P), and I called him a good boy and I guess took him on a walk along the beach.
I don't know whether this dream is a message from God, but it stirs something inside my soul.
Hold on to our faith, fellow Christians.
God bless.

Had a spiritual crisis a couple days ago, mainly whether my faith is "strong enough". I remembered the verses of Peter walking on the water with Jesus, how you can move mountains with mustard-seed sized faith, and most importantly, "God will never leave you nor forsake you." And thus, I drew a pic.

I came across this page in my devotional after a negative experience on Reddit. (Coincidence? I think NOT!) #literature #devotional #text #inspiration

Just read this book. Several parts got me thinking, but one line really hit me: "There have been some who were so occupied in spreading Christianity that they never gave a thought to Christ." #books #christianity #cslewis #literature #reading

I found a book called "God's Little Devotional Book". This page hits the mark on the kind of person I need to be. #book #literature #bibleverse #christian

Here's an old pic of my cat, TC. She passed away 5 years ago, but I wanted to share one of her best photogenic moments. To me, she will always be the ultimate blep-master. #cats #photography #caturday #blep

Read 2 different translations of this verse, couldn't decide which one to post so I chose both. The background is a pic of a lake I applied a cool filter to. #bibleverse #kjv #nkjv #photography #text
