The fact that the Vancouver Aquarium is the most reasonable looking one is INSANE. If you ever want a nice place to hike, I really loved Lynn Canyon (I had to deliver equipment for a shoot up there, so I got to drive the service access roads :D)

It's not "American" but up in Canada, there's several historical villages. Barkerville in British Columbia is the one of the big ones, but I've definitely been to several historic towns. There's a lot of forts with museums, and in Banff, there's an old RCMP outpost on the top of the mountain.

I personally really appreciate the general, mature, and adult filters, and they added a tool that blurs images of tags you've flagged. Banning content doesn't make it go away. Give me filters and tags over bans any day

I expect the prairie provinces to be flat, then I flew into Toronto and Ottawa and they were... both also flat. XD I don't know what I'd been expecting, but it confused me initially haha

Having a lawyer to look over stuff like this sounds super important, because I know I'd definitely be tempted by 25k. I've only ever done personal commissions, so I really don't have a good grasp on commercial rates. (I do have a 2014 copy of the graphic artist handbook though)

It was the bugs and the creepy crawlies that did it for me 100% XD I am a horror lightweight, and things that attack the body seriously freak me out (Michael Grant's GONE series is another that I very much noped out of)

Northwheat @wheatart.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

A House with Good Bones hit the threshold for my horror tolerance, so I absolutely will not be touching Wolf Worm hahaha. I loved Swordheart though and have Daggerheart in my to-read list at the library. (I'm reading Wildwood right now to prep for the movie)

And I think even my hubby struggled quite a bit with Control on the hardest difficulty, so it's a VERY challenging game.

My hubby LOVES playing on the hardest difficulty, meanwhile I'm happy with Normal or Easy. I hate feeling like the game is punishing me when I play.

I've heard so many bad things about that one. Partially because he didn't do a lot of research into the people he was villianizing, and so he just pulled from major stereotypes at the time.
