Running a tiny bit behind due to family matters, but here's miniature for day 3. I thought of the minish/picori immediately for the prompt. Minish Cap still is my favorite zelda. #legendofzelda #inktober2026 #art #inktober

Day 2: Relic Tried to speed through this one because hoo boy today is a day. Had 1 and a half hours. Not bad. Based off of the Skeleton of St. Pancratius. #inktober2026 #art #inktober

Inktober day 1: Apple Fitting drank an apple redbull with this. Something about the pic is off, but I can worry about that another day. Happy spooky month everyone!! #inktober2026 #inktober

Didn't have much time for doodling today, but Mika got a tiny bit of a redesign. Yes, once more, they're inspired by/designed after a man o war #art #OC

Trying to go back to some old methods with art to kind of appreciate it more. It feels better really. Anywho, have this admittedly gross pic of one of my OCs, Nikolai. Or Kolya really. I love the idea of a deity of decay rotting, but it just being a part of renewal. Rot isn't death. #art #OC

I should honestly go back to streaming now that my life has sorta stopped throwing crisis after crisis at me. Need a small audience to bully me into creating stuff.

Working on the art for Professor Onyx and I cannot for the life of me find a decent reference image dor Liliana's tattoos/markings. Oh well. #art #mtg #lilianavess

Been a hot minute again woops but I have indeed been working on my deck . Got to the sol ring and decided to go with Solaire from dark souls. Love this man.The roughest of sketches for thine eyes.

Decided to draw all the art for a MTG proxy deck because heart of the cards and all that Anyway, the temptation to make all three versions of Emet-selch I'm using just little gremlin Emets in different hats is strong.

I sometimes listen to reviews and rants about books I never plan to read. On one hand it makes me feel lazy or bad, but on the other hand I never intended to read what is increasingly ai slop books these days. Anywho, doodles for today while I had the time. #art

I just kinda wanted to be done with this one. Started as an idea to flesh some stuff out with my story and now I'm just kinda itchy about it. #art

Experimenting around when it comes to art to find something that I like and feel comfortable with. Anywho, this is one of my characters, Avis. He's actually very kind, I swear.

Kanra @whatsakanra.bsky.social · 01/03/2026

Popping in to say that I am still kicking. Got REALLY sick there for a bit and also just kinda trying to figure out how to enjoy what I do again, no matter what it is. If you treat everything like a tool, eventually you'll feel like one too yknow. Anywho, hope you are all doing well!!!

Finished Saora's redesign as well as gave them a proper name. That actually completes the jelly trio! Really enjoyed this

No stream today. Internet hates the cold, I suppose. Monday is supposed to be warmer thankfully so I plan to start reading The King in Yellow then. Don't miss out!!

010

Kanra @whatsakanra.bsky.social · 27/01/2026

Haven't spent the time in the cold and snow doing nothing though! WIP but goodness I would love some advice if anyone has any. I have next to zero knowledge really when it comes to animation.

030

Kanra @whatsakanra.bsky.social · 27/01/2026

Snow for me here was starting to melt today, but the internet is still rough at best. Aiming for thursday now alas. Aside from that, I've been doing good in the cold. Hope everyone else is and does fair well too!!

Kanra @whatsakanra.bsky.social · 25/01/2026

Weather/Stream update on this end: no stream Monday it seems. The cold and snow always seem to screw with my internet, and that holds true this time around. I'm hoping to be good to go on Tuesday though! Fingers crossed!

Given recent events and much consideration, I will be changing the book that will be read and discussed on stream. Little Mushroom contains violence by authority on civilians. I think it best to choose different. Fuck ICE

A touch short notice, but I'll be getting back to streaming tomorrow (thursday). It'll be a quiet and chill one I think, but I feel antsy these days when it comes to too much rest. Likely going to be working on a new "starting soon" screen.

010

Kanra @whatsakanra.bsky.social · 16/01/2026

Sorry folks, but I might be going on a little break from streaming to gather myself. I'm a bit all over the place inwardly these days, and I think it would be best to breathe and take some time to figure myself out. Thank you all!!

Kanra @whatsakanra.bsky.social · 12/12/2025

From this week's streams, I give you Aurita, or Auri for short. They're an OC based off of a moon jelly, which is, in fact, my favorite animal. Looking forward to drawing more art of them and the other two I have made over the past month.

031

Kanra @whatsakanra.bsky.social · 30/11/2025

From the pre-break stream, I went back and redid the "jellyfish" inspired OC a bit and sort of finished it in a style I liked doing. Figured I would post the final results before I drove myself nuts going back over it. Named Mikazuki for the man o' war they're based on, Physalia Mikazuki.

Quick shading (not complete by any means) on today's work from stream. Cannot wait to have a chance to sit and fully flesh this one out sometime. This was for inktober's 18th prompt, Deal. The deal is that the person translates for the giant snake, Keyzer.

061

Kanra @whatsakanra.bsky.social · 17/10/2025

Still behind on inktober technically, but we are making our way through. Did more on these two than I meant to but oh well. Two streams well spent.

Kanra @whatsakanra.bsky.social · 14/10/2025

Sketch made from recent streams. It's for prompt 11 of inktober, sting. It's definitely one that deserves a full piece at a later date.

Taking thursday off so I can give myself time to nail down halloween festiveness, dear jellies. My weekend is already pre-cooked, so I have to sort of carve out time. Be back fight eyed and bushy...tentacled? friday! Woo!

Kanra @whatsakanra.bsky.social · 29/09/2025

Art from today's stream with a bg added. I wanted to keep from getting too bogged down in detail while also making something I'm satisfied with. I think it went well. Preparing for inktober. This was day 5, deer. The character, from my story, is Mosi.

Kanra @whatsakanra.bsky.social · 15/09/2025

Alright Jellies! Back to art streams starting tomorrow. Monday's project will be a redesign of Deneb, Cygnus (swan) dancer of Hemythios! I may also be doing some emote doodle ideas beforehand to warm up, so don't miss out! www.twitch.tv/whatsakanra

Might try to turn a lot of the lore from the writing streams into a more streamlined, easy to shoot through format for any curious about it but confused about jumping in. That and I can be iffy at explaining things in the moment, so maybe it would help all around.

010

Kanra @whatsakanra.bsky.social · 29/08/2025

Going to test my luck and try to play pokemon tomorrow for the chill stream. If all goes well enough, we'll be doing a pokemon sacred gold nuzlocke run. I suck at nuzlockes and I'll be doing it mostly blind. Pain is expected. See ya there hopefully!

010

Kanra @whatsakanra.bsky.social · 27/08/2025

Live by the scuff, die by the scuff. Here's to hoping I've sorted out enough to have a steady-ish stream. Meemaw here doesn't know tech and stuff like that very much, so I thank all the folks who have been helping me in that department.

Kanra @whatsakanra.bsky.social · 24/08/2025

Figured I should make a bluesky just for this. First stream announcement!! Come join me, chat a bit, etc. Tuesday Aug 24, 6am - 2pm CST
