"I just can't convey the frustration and sorrow that it's been to grow up at first without the internet and then watching it bloom into this useful, fun, connecting force you sometimes spent time on, only for it to degrade into this constant oppressive waste of time and energy where people are constantly pumping out algorithmically designed content for max algorithmic appeal and even the most simple search generates either no results or an infinite abyss of ai generated slop none of which is usable or correct. We briefly had a library of alexandria and then fed it into a paper shredder so advertisers could sell a random mash of pulp back to us at a premium.

#NerdAlert 😊 Stumbled into a starred Flame Queen last night in #Palia, fam! Had to geek out at how pretty. 🤩 (Around 6:30pm in game, up high on the eastern-most ridges of I7.) p.s. Love the #Pride glasses, @playpalia.com 💙

*nerd alert* Finally(!) stumbled upon my first Rainbow-tipped Butterfly in #Palia - Bahari Bay, Pulsewater Plains (D8) around 7am - ...Now the real hunt begins for starred quality, lol. 😁🌈🦋

Screenshot of the Inventory tab open in Palia, where my character is displayed with her stats and the contents of storage bag, in which there's an "Epic" rarity bug, the Rainbow-tipped Butterfly - rumored to be one of the most elusive bugs in game so far.

Why be doomy when you can be bloomy? 🌷 #bloomscroll Also, Merry Four-Twenty! 🎄

So here's a photo of my cat. This is Shelby Lou and she sleeps on her back very often. ☺️ #catsofbluesky

Dark gray and white cat with mostly white underside is laying in her back, looking cutely at the camera, on a busy patterned rug.

Real quick for #MushroomMonday 😊 This goopy blobber fell off the underside of our live oak. Apparently it's Tremella foliage / brown witch's butter. Very interesting textural experience.

"The 9 games that make me who I am" via www.my9games.com My history of PC game fixations... I guess I'm a monogamous gamer, lol. When I find a game I love, I'll spend a year(s) with it exclusively. It takes A LOT for a game to check all my boxes, though - I'm so picky. 🤭 #my9games

Soooo ready for spring. 🌱 Throwback, 2 years ago today, at Cypress Gardens near Monck's Corner, SC. #daffodils #southcarolina

Small, young daffodils of very pale yellow with buttery yellow centers bloom in the foreground. The background, in softer focus, shows a leaf-covered groundscape with large tree trunk and water reflection behind. Cypress Gardens, Monck's Corner, SC, 2024.

Comic book style illustration of a woman with exasperated look on her face, severe bob haircut in blue, and arms clutching lots of small dopamine-inducing trinkets and toys, including a Tamagotchi, Furby, Snoopy toy, Kewpie dolls, Hello Kitty, fuzzy dice, cherry 8-ball keychain, etc. Two speech bubbles contain her statements: "Everything sucks." and then, "I need more trinkets."

TIL that #MushroomMonday exists. 😎 Count me in. This chonker was in my yard (zone 8a) in November.

Fall nature shot with autumn leaf litter, sparse green moss and grass blades, with a big puffball mushroom off center.

Close-up of texture (almost like brain rivulets) on puffball mushroom exterior, with a little moss in the foreground.

Holla! 😛 Nearing the end of this project (finally). Vintage (ugh, it hurts me to say that, lol) 80's Candamar "Holland" kit. Please ignore the sloppy knots and cross your fingers that I can pull the "A" back into nicer form. 😂 #needlepoint #wip

Work-in-progress snapshot of a needlepoint canvas with colorful tulips and the letters "HOLLA" (the last "ND" not stitched yet) from 1980's craft kit.
