So other "kitten" actually turned out to just be a small mama. No chips and a clean bill of health, so they'll be staying with us. We named the kitten Henry, mama is yet undecided.

I tend to try to catch strays and have a vet check for chips anyways, but with all the fires and smoke around I definitely couldn't leave two kittens roaming around. Managed to catch one who seemed shy but not very afraid of me. Our neighbors dog scared off the second so we are hoping it comes back.

A sneak peak of my #svsssbigbang fic, where Luo Binghe finds out about the Sun and Moon Dew body while it's still growing and enters plantzun's dreams. Featuring angst, body horror, and mushrooms. I'm excited to share what our wonderful team has created!

Fic: Beneath the Soul, Dream of Us
Author: Whalefallogist
Excerpt: Luo Binghe wondered, briefly, whether it would be more energy efficient to simply bite the affected fingertips off. Was the energy required to regrow a finger more or less than restoring frostbitten fingers to their original state?

He’d seen frostbite on the streets before. Oftentimes, the affected area had to be amputated when it got bad.

“...Kid, I don’t really see the need for that. I’m no healer, but surely regrowing fingers is much more inconvenient,” Menf Mo cut in.

“You’re right,” Luo Binghe murmured thoughtfully, “It wouldn’t do to risk dirtying shizun’s room.”

The first thing I've doodled in a while was skinzun, based off a picture of my cats

Maybe I'll actually post here who knows. Anyway, obligatory pet photo.
