Just finished the Chess Journeys tactical workbook by @drscull.bsky.social on @chessable.com and absolutely loved it. I would thoroughly recommend it for any #chesspunks under 1600. I really hope he is going to do a sequel, I feel that I have learned a lot from this course. 💪

I am really enjoying the course show far. I’ve just finished the Understanding and Naming the motifs chapters and I am loving the names and find they really resonate with me. I’m looking forward to getting to the rest of the course and putting those ideas into action. 👍

I only listen to chess ones, Perpetual Chess, Chess Journeys, The Chess Experience, New in Chess and Chess Cognition are all really good.

Just finished this. It’s a great book on a topic that isn’t covered much, but which is incredibly important. I found some of the puzzles a bit easy, but it’s a great introduction for players rated under 1100. #chesspunks

Well I believe chess players generally reach their peak in their late 20’s or early 30’s, so any time after 33 if you ask me! 👍

I’m using the age card as my excuse too! 😂 In this case white was at the bottom, I just didn’t notice the little triangle which indicated that it was black to play. 🤦‍♂️
