Finally home from riptide, thank you to everyone who came up and talked to me and said hi. This event meant so much to me, to be in a position to have a whole crowd of people chanting for my team is something I never thought would happen. Thank you to everyone who supported content cat

Top/high lvl players help me out here, the broken soloq guns are also good in tourneys but not as good as equally strong guns that when built around are much more consistent.

Just beat raiders, couldn’t have asked for more from the game thus far. I will say if you want to maintain the integrity of the difficulty, I would not play too much multiplayer. It doesn’t ruin the exp or anything it just makes later lvls significantly easier imo.

Special thank you to everyone who came out to make Gridlock 2026 a wonderful success! This past weekend turned out to be our most competitive LAN yet, and after some incredibly hard fought sets, let’s give a big congratulations to our top three finishers:

Who will win: the fashionable New Yorker Miku on KNICKS IN FIVE or the equally fashionable and whimsical Reload in their propeller hats?

westy @westyy.bsky.social · 13/07/2026

KNICKS IN 5 takes 7th at gridlock 2026. This was my first two day event and I couldn’t have asked for much more. Got to meet so many ppl I’ve looked up to for so long. Thank you all for making this one for the books. And congrats to Gravity for taking home the dub!

KNICKS IN FVE emulates their namesake with not one, not two, but THREE massive comebacks to take the set versus Reload 3-0! Here's just one of them!

There are many ways to explain one thing. Different explanations will click for different people. So the more versions of an explanation we have, the better. Just make it even if someone else has too.

Raiders looks like an absolute blast, I’ll admit I was a bit skeptical of the difficultly scaling and replayability but after the direct I’m super excited to play this game. Who knows, maybe I’ll even make some content out of it…🤷‍♂️

Content Cat was definitely the dark horse and underdog throughout the whole tournament. Talented players who were (or still are) overlooked or undermined for their weapon choices. Definitely one of the fun teams watching throughout the NA series.

For an event I barely got to play, finishing 14th was something I am definitely proud of. It’s easy to be disappointed we couldn’t do more, but I’m proud of some of the sets my team was able to take. All we can do now is learn from the games and enjoy watching playoffs unfold💙

(1/3) My take on the "Is X Rank a good Skill Metric" debate is, well. If you think I'm good at the game, all of that came from playing X rank, both NA and JP, they both have their benefits. NA helped me find my way in full focus and awareness of all players across the entire map.

Everyone says "we should just use x power instead of results" but never actually explains why, and I think I've found one of the bigger reasons why we should (mostly) convert (as a "D4" 2200 XP NA peak player who didn't enjoy X rank for the longest time) Thread below 🧵

I hope this post doesn’t have an unintentional impact of taking attention away from women’s experiences and perspectives A message to the other guys in the community:

Alright time to be vulnerable cause I think some of the guys in the community could use to hear this.

I’ve been on the wrong side of situations similar to what Luna is referencing. It’s not something I’m proud of, but I’m fortunate that I’ve been given the opportunity to learn and grow from those situations on many occasions.

It’s not weakness to acknowledge that you have room to grow. It’s the most humble and empowering trait you can have as a man.

Let’s learn to listen while women (and non-binary folks) are voicing their experiences. This conversation is an excellent opportunity to learn and grow to become exceptional men. I challenge all the guys reading this to think inwards on how your past actions could have hurt others, made other uncomfortable, of made an unwelcoming environment to others.

Thank you for reading. I know we can do better.
