wesleysaur.bsky.social @wesleysaur.bsky.social · 13/10/2026This is charming! I’m feeling inspired 010

wesleysaur.bsky.social @wesleysaur.bsky.social · 15/09/2026Neat! I was noticing that my bus was especially full this morning when I looked up MTS ridership and saw they dropped the press release about this yesterday 030
wesleysaur.bsky.social @wesleysaur.bsky.social · 04/09/2026When I started adderall I was shocked that people had just been sitting down and starting their work. I got incredibly lucky that it basically just worked for me as advertised with no side effects 010
wesleysaur.bsky.social @wesleysaur.bsky.social · 04/08/2026Neat! Although when DJing I’m not sure I can imagine trying to make a quick transition and getting stuck in the wrong mode 😂 010
wesleysaur.bsky.social @wesleysaur.bsky.social · 01/08/2026Takes me a little longer to come off an ankle injury but otherwise the first few months of my 30s have been great! 000
wesleysaur.bsky.social @wesleysaur.bsky.social · 01/08/2026I’d love to see the CFTC drop the hammer on these guys but it really feels far fetched while Trump is in charge 000
wesleysaur.bsky.social @wesleysaur.bsky.social · 30/07/2026This is exactly what I find so disrespectful and tasteless about AI art in general. If you cannot be bothered to make an event flyer and cheap out with AI, why should I expect that you put any effort into your actual event?? 0100
wesleysaur.bsky.social @wesleysaur.bsky.social · 28/07/2026I love the cronuts with chocolate but just one of those suckers is literally 800 calories 010

wesleysaur.bsky.social @wesleysaur.bsky.social · 21/07/2026Real heads got to hear about this one at the end of the 汉服 articles of interest episode and I’ve been excited ever since 000
wesleysaur.bsky.social @wesleysaur.bsky.social · 21/07/2026I find it endlessly hilarious that claude code was very obviously written by AI. 120
wesleysaur.bsky.social @wesleysaur.bsky.social · 16/07/2026I was about to say, how different is this really than buying ootm options right before trial results are published 000
wesleysaur.bsky.social @wesleysaur.bsky.social · 26/06/2026But the numbers, famously, went down! And now we know this was clearly because the goose was not valued 010

wesleysaur.bsky.social @wesleysaur.bsky.social · 27/05/2026eBay is your best friend if you know the proper keywords. I think menswear leans a bit more expensive piece for piece than womenswear. However, us men tend to have smaller/more boring wardrobes, so the cost per wear of nicer basics is more reasonable 020
wesleysaur.bsky.social @wesleysaur.bsky.social · 23/05/2026Maybe give it some time and it will show up on Libby? 020
wesleysaur.bsky.social @wesleysaur.bsky.social · 23/05/2026This is a different issue unfortunately. I saw this one at my local Kinokuniya but not the edition Derek is talking about 110
wesleysaur.bsky.social @wesleysaur.bsky.social · 23/05/2026Is this a special edition? Just dropped by my local books Kinokuniya but they only had the Japanese version from February of Style Sample 😥 I guess I gotta look for it online like everyone else 110
wesleysaur.bsky.social @wesleysaur.bsky.social · 22/05/2026I cannot believe that this actually worked 000
wesleysaur.bsky.social @wesleysaur.bsky.social · 22/05/2026I think that to untrained ears there’s not much of a difference between midrange Sennheisers plugged into a MacBook with 320kbps mp3 vs HD800s with a lossless source and matched amp. The value (and innovation) has all been in DSP for stuff like ANC 000
wesleysaur.bsky.social @wesleysaur.bsky.social · 22/05/2026High end enthusiast home setup— yeah the 1970s are pretty similar to today. Line arrays for live sound were a pretty big change in the 90s, and sound bars are newly good (or at least passable). I think part of the issue with speakers is that we kinda hit the point of diminishing returns 130
wesleysaur.bsky.social @wesleysaur.bsky.social · 21/05/2026Truly what is the deal with those drivers after a game, I’ve nearly been run over several times all the way by fault line park. It’s rage inducing 010
wesleysaur.bsky.social @wesleysaur.bsky.social · 13/05/2026I recommend checking out www.taxbasefragmentation.net for anyone who likes looking at maps. wesleysaur.bsky.social @wesleysaur.bsky.social · 05/05/2026I really wish they’d give up on reopening that one section of 14th street when the new park in the east village opens up. Clearly traffic there is not a problem for the past few years! 110
wesleysaur.bsky.social @wesleysaur.bsky.social · 04/05/2026I like to imagine Mel quit software engineering after an intel microcode update ruined his beautifully hand-rolled abuse of undocumented processor behavior 080
wesleysaur.bsky.social @wesleysaur.bsky.social · 04/05/2026This is an amazing story, thanks for sharing. Mel is truly a product of a bygone era. What a joy to optimize things before such troublesome contemporary issues like “untrusted user input” and “changing requirements” and “user experience” 010

wesleysaur.bsky.social @wesleysaur.bsky.social · 18/03/2026But I’ve actually had really good luck with convoluted compiler/linker issues on tricky, multi-repo legacy firmware projects. It’s very good at firing off well-formatted regex to dig around map files for misplaced symbols, etc. 010
wesleysaur.bsky.social @wesleysaur.bsky.social · 18/03/2026My experience is that Claude code is prone to going completely off the rails so you really have to understand what it’s trying to do. As soon as it tries to do something really stupid you hammer the `esc` key and correct it. 120
wesleysaur.bsky.social @wesleysaur.bsky.social · 16/03/2026They have! And my gargantuan thighs are thankful for it 😂 041
