wesjohnson96.bsky.social @wesjohnson96.bsky.social · 10/04/2026I love the idea of a manager having a Connor Stallions type clubhouse guy who surreptitiously measures opponents’ equipment whenever he sees an opportunity, and the manager keeping a ledger of cheaters to be used when the time is right. 010
wesjohnson96.bsky.social @wesjohnson96.bsky.social · 06/04/2026Tacoma, WA. Admittedly expectations were low but I loved the combo of industry, history and waterfront. Seemed like it had a lot of cool coffee shops, pizza joints, etc per capita. 140
wesjohnson96.bsky.social @wesjohnson96.bsky.social · 06/04/2026Both are admittedly rough in the winter but summers are perfect. Bismarck is on the far western edge of the Central time zone so it stays light past 10pm. 010
wesjohnson96.bsky.social @wesjohnson96.bsky.social · 06/04/2026I’d add Bismarck and Fargo ND to the list of Plains surprises. Both have cool downtowns. Bismarck has oil and govt money to support nice things, a great history museum and beautiful parks and trails on the MO River. Fargo has the coolest brewery (Drekker) and hotel (Donaldson) I’ve ever been to. 110
