The new Malazan world map that comes with the Broken Binding editions of Books 4-6 is certainly very interesting, though numerous inconsistencies with the published books abound. But I suspect that's very deliberate on the part of Erikson & Esslemont. #malazan #brokenbinding

My list of games on Steam by hours played, with the Top 10 in order being Age of Empires 2 Definitive Edition (381 hours), Cyberpunk 2077 (230 hours), BattleTech (224 hours), Fallout 4 (209 hours), Skyrim (139 hours), XCOM Enemy Unknown (136 hours), Battlestar Galactica Deadlock (135 hours), Baldur's Gate III (102 hours), Grand Theft Auto V (98 hours) and Death Stranding (96 hours). Note that Skyrim and Skyrim Special Edition are listed separately, their combined playtime would be 186 hours.

Back in 2020, Lance Reddicks's superlative sitcom CORPORATE sent us a warning about the future.

Lance Reddick in Season 3, Episode 1 of CORPORATE, giving his horrifying speech on the future of television:

"There will be sequels, prequels, reboots, remakes and ill-advised spin-offs with side characters that cannot possibly carry their own series. We'll give the fans everything they want, and much, much more. We'll use an algorithm to churn out hundreds of scripts a day at virtually no cost. And sure, you'll complain about how it used to be better, but that anger will unite you. And you'll keep watching, hoping it will end, begging for it to end, and then you'll all die. This was the filming of the pilot, not the show itself. The pilot had to be retooled, partially reshot and recast after the pilot was made, so the show itself did not debut until 17 April 2011, almost eighteen months later. #GameOfThrones #GoT15

The Internet informs me that FIFTEEN YEARS AGO this week I was hanging with these guys in Belfast. Which means GAME OF THRONES started production just over fifteen years ago (they were in Malta and Scotland for ~3 weeks before going to Belfast). #GameOfThrones #GoT15
