This would largely effect live service games, and only games that release after some future date. The expectation is that baseline practices in the designing live services would change. Underlying services they depend on, will have to redesign and renegotiate their product or fall to competitors.

It's still notable that they didn't announce the price in the presentation. It's probably gonna be like the GPU launches. MSRP won't matter because... you know. So they are hesitant to put a big number on screen because it's gonna be bad no matter what, even if they aren't to blame.
