Recently my thoughts on furry have shifted toward largely being a means of escapism - this is why cons seem cliquey, parasocial, almost ANTI-social events ime. Not wanting to be TOGETHER, but ALONE together. In an ideal world, furries would talk to each other. But in real, others are to be avoided.
