wendyo59.bsky.social @wendyo59.bsky.social · 26/09/2026He can be impeached in the House, easily, however he will never get 67 votes to convict and remove him in the senate. 030
wendyo59.bsky.social @wendyo59.bsky.social · 26/09/2026It’s a waste of time. There is no way 16 Republicans are going to vote with Democrats. Maybe on Hegseth. That’s it. It just makes Democrats look bad. Trump’s popularity actually improved last time he was impeached. 010
wendyo59.bsky.social @wendyo59.bsky.social · 26/09/2026I don’t know why you would even want to repost this. 000
wendyo59.bsky.social @wendyo59.bsky.social · 26/09/2026And at most they’ll get to 51 senators, not 67. 230
wendyo59.bsky.social @wendyo59.bsky.social · 26/09/2026No they won’t. They still need 67 votes in the senate to impeach, convict and remove anyone. Do you think Democrats could convince at least 16 Republican senators to vote with them? I mean, Republicans could have impeached them all at any time. 120
wendyo59.bsky.social @wendyo59.bsky.social · 26/09/2026What does that look like to you? Did you know that impeachment is the only process available to congress? The DOJ could prosecute but he owns the DOJ, so that’s not going to happen? What do you think can happen here? 000
wendyo59.bsky.social @wendyo59.bsky.social · 22/09/2026I’m watching this with the sound off. Jut look at his face and his expression! He’s like a 10’year old schoolyard bully! Eww 020

wendyo59.bsky.social @wendyo59.bsky.social · 24/07/2026This was when Republicans were liberals and Democrats were conservatives. Before 1965. 000
wendyo59.bsky.social @wendyo59.bsky.social · 24/07/2026Kinzinger knows better! He’s deliberately trying to discredit Beshear. A Governor cannot declare a senate seat vacant! Only the senate can do that. 000
wendyo59.bsky.social @wendyo59.bsky.social · 24/07/2026Term limits only empower lobbyists and other unelected officials. Institutional knowledge and continuity should remain with our elected representatives. What we need is campaign finance reform. That’s where the corruption is. 020
wendyo59.bsky.social @wendyo59.bsky.social · 24/07/2026Listen, she conceded, the votes were certified, and he accepted the inauguration. What do you think can be done? 000
wendyo59.bsky.social @wendyo59.bsky.social · 24/07/2026Do you know what the impeachment process is? It’s starts in the House where they can impeach with a simple majority. Then it goes to the senate where there is a trial. The senate must vote to convict and remove with a 2/3 majority…which is nearly impossible. 000
wendyo59.bsky.social @wendyo59.bsky.social · 24/07/2026The World Cup went off fairly well considering. 000
wendyo59.bsky.social @wendyo59.bsky.social · 23/07/2026In the past, senators and representatives have been absent much longer than McConnell. Democrats are just fine with one less Republican vote in the senate. And even Kentuckians prefer to leave the seat vacant until after the November elections. 000
wendyo59.bsky.social @wendyo59.bsky.social · 23/07/2026Because Democrats BENEFIT from one less Republican vote in the senate! What don’t you get? Were you under the FALSE belief that McConnell could be replaced by a Democrat??? 120
wendyo59.bsky.social @wendyo59.bsky.social · 21/07/2026You’re talking about the SAVE Act? It’s not going to pass the Senate. Republicans don’t like it. 101
wendyo59.bsky.social @wendyo59.bsky.social · 21/07/2026So, be honest. Someone paying you to discredit Beshear? 100
wendyo59.bsky.social @wendyo59.bsky.social · 21/07/2026Only if the seat is vacated before Aug 4th. After that there is the general election in 3 months. I expect he will turn up dead shortly after the 4th. 000
wendyo59.bsky.social @wendyo59.bsky.social · 21/07/2026I’m pretty sure there are NO Democrats who want to replace McConnell with another Republican at this point. Use your fvcking head. Lol… 200
wendyo59.bsky.social @wendyo59.bsky.social · 21/07/2026Oh please, I wouldn’t count on that. One less vote is still one less vote. 100

wendyo59.bsky.social @wendyo59.bsky.social · 20/07/2026Why do you care??? The fact that there is one less Republican vote in the senate is a GOOD thing!!! 121
wendyo59.bsky.social @wendyo59.bsky.social · 20/07/2026Why do you care? The fact that there is one less Republican vote in the senate is a good thing! 100
wendyo59.bsky.social @wendyo59.bsky.social · 20/07/2026There is nothing he can do legally that he isn’t already doing. 050
wendyo59.bsky.social @wendyo59.bsky.social · 20/07/2026When Beshear was elected, the Kentucky Republican supermajority changed laws specifically to prevent Beshear from being able to replace McConnell (given his age) with a Democrat. These new laws have not been tested. The Kentucky constitution allows Beshear to replace him with another Republican. 010
wendyo59.bsky.social @wendyo59.bsky.social · 20/07/2026But a Republican must be replaced by a Republican. 100
wendyo59.bsky.social @wendyo59.bsky.social · 20/07/2026Most of it, yes. There are a number of individuals in Congress who are doing what they can, but are limited by Republican majorities. 001
wendyo59.bsky.social @wendyo59.bsky.social · 20/07/2026It is the job of Congress to hold the president accountable. Congress also has war powers. However, since there are Republican majorities in both the House and the Senate, they are refusing to do their jobs. There is nothing Democrats can do. 010
wendyo59.bsky.social @wendyo59.bsky.social · 20/07/2026He is doing everything he can do legally. The state has a Republican supermajority that controls everything. Also, Democrats are perfectly satisfied to have one less Republican vote in the US senate! 210
wendyo59.bsky.social @wendyo59.bsky.social · 20/07/2026Nope, Democrats are HAPPY to have one less Republican vote in the senate! 210
wendyo59.bsky.social @wendyo59.bsky.social · 20/07/2026Beshear is doing everything he can do legally. Also, are you under the false belief that Beshear could appoint a Democrat? At this point Democrats are JUST FINE with one less Republican vote in the senate. 000
