Twin Peaks Season 2 starts tomorrow!! thought i’d drop a handy non-spoiler character map at this point in the show :)

laura’s parents are Leland/Sarah, her cousin is Madeline, her bf is Bobby, best friend is Donna & her secret lover is James

donna is dating mike, bobby’s friend, & donna’s father is doc will hayward

bobby is secretly seeing shelly, who is married to Leo, four years older than her and she dropped out of high school to marry him. bobby deals for leo who also works with jacques. bobby’s father is major garland briggs who works in classified military work involving deep space

shelly, bobby’s secret lover (not so secret after laura passes) works at the double R diner w/ norma (bond goes beyond work friends). norma is married to hank but has loved ed her whole life, and ed feels the same, despite being married to nadine. ed is also the uncle of james, laura’s secret lover. should add james and donna get together in season 1 closely following laura’s passing

dale cooper is the FBI agent sent to twin peaks to solve laura’s case. he teams up with harry truman the sheriff of twin peaks, along with hawk & andy, plus lucy the receptionist who is dating andy. dale works w/ gordon cole (played by david lynch himself) and albert rosenfield of the FBI who make appearances in the show every now & then

sher. truman is also seeing josie packard, wife of deceased andrew packard, owner of packard sawmill. andrew’s sister is catherine martell, married to pete martell, & they work at sawmill. catherine is secretly seeing ben horne, father of audrey & owner of great northern hotel. audrey’s brother is jonny & uncle is jerry

now… i don’t know if this is an ombré situation, but it does remind me of Half Moon nails which originated in the 1920s and was popularized by old hollywood stars such as Marlene Dietrich in Mulholland Dr (2001), Rita wears a red half moon manicure (leaving a half moon shape at the nail base bare)
