#SundayPixEggs Struggled to find any interesting or imaginative egg photos, :-/ so here’s my 50th birthday breakfast in New York instead 🥚 While searching, I also found one of dear Wombat’s wonderful made-up words: crozzle — the crispy edge of a fried egg. That made me smile too 💛

I like cake and I like beautiful places. This was a glorious combination of the best of both. Blejska kremšnita, (cremeschnitte), by the incredibly stunning Lake Bled in Slovenia. #SundayPixMemorableFood

A table for two is alongside the most beautiful turquoise blue clear lake. At the other side of the lake is a forested hill with beautiful European style buildings on, (one with a spire), and mountains beyond. On the table is a teapot, a cup, a bottle of Coke Zero, two glasses of water and two slices of delicious cake, comprising a lower half of custard, an upper half of whipped cream, with thin crispy pastry top and bottom, dusted with icing sugar. It is a sunny day, the sky is blue with fluffy white clouds.
