Thanks for sharing this. I was waiting at a small airstrip near North Loup in 2012 when David pulled up and started chatting amicably with me. My wife called later to ask if I saw anything and I shouted into the phone "I MET DAVID HOADLEY!" I wish him the very best.

Yes - remarkable how similar both these chases were! I picked up the target on both days southwest of Springfield, navigated around the city on I-72, and then blasted east on the interstate to Decatur. Thought that 5/20 was the better chase but was skeptical of the reported tor south of Latham.

I've taught international trade theory to undergrads for nearly 30 years. For my friends in the weather enterprise who might be unsure just how crazy Trump's tariffs are, start with Hurricane Dorian Sharpie-gate and 2014 "Tornado Wall" physicist levels of craziness and go up from there.
