Yup. A US survey of fallout in children's baby teeth was one of the factors that prompted JFK to sign the partial nuclear weapons testing ban in 1963.
Children born in 1963, at the height of atmospheric testing, had 50 times higher levels of Strontium-90 in their teeth than children born in 1950.
