On my mobility scooter today & a lady repeatedly asked “It gets you out does it?”. Does she think I have no life or job? I work full time, I get on with my life, I go out and do stuff… does she think I’m incapable and sit around doing nothing and occasionally ‘get myself out’? #disabled #disability

The gap between mri and getting results is ridiculous. Had my mri last week and seeing my neurologist in June. I’d hope if there was anything amiss they’d contact your earlier. Asked my ms nurse about this and given no reassurance

Email address I’ve been using for 25+yrs crashed 3 weeks ago. Thought I knew the password, turns out I didn’t. Setup a new email in a panic and changed all contacts to the new email. Tonight finally worked out how to reset the password… feeling very proud of myself. Never going to forget it again!

We are now 42hrs without water. BBC coming to our road tomorrow morning to report on this prolonged water outage. Last night a friend bought round 5ltr of water as we had none & local supermarkets had sold out. Today finally got free bottled water from ThamesWater. Can’t wait for it to be fixed 💦💦💦

Mobility scooter adventure: Based at Bethlem hospital today so decided to scooter the 3.9 miles there & back. Found the scariest drop curb ever that I nearly toppled over & generally terrible pavements. It took 1.5hrs each way, was hard work, but did it! #mobilityscooter #adventure

Saw Nosferatu last night at Crystal Palace Everyman. beautifully filmed and very atmospheric. A well paced telling of the tale and really worth a watch. Huge jump scare at the beginning though - glad I wasn’t holding my cocktail at the time as probably would have spilt it! #nosferatu #jumpscare

As a long time glasses wearer I always had designer frames. When I got my first pair of vari-focals I was directed to the cheap own brand frames. After I chose the frames I then realised why they had shown the cheaper frames. Eye watering expensive lenses!
