Robert Brovdi is shown seated in the interview, in a long-sleeved black shirt, and a plain, olive drab ballcap. The room where the interview is conducted is dark, and a large red graphic design is on the wall above and behind him. From the audio, a subtitle appears centered at the bottom of the frame:
“We do not allow ourselves to fight that way”

Brovdi outlines five steps NATO countries need to take immediately to establish defense against war by drone assault:

1. Create a 2-7km wide buffer zone across the entire length of National borders where drones can operate freely.
2. Build a dense, layered & redundant fiberoptic communication infrastructure into the buffer zone.
3. Establish dedicated, highly mobile anti-drone air defenses.
4. Create a separate unmanned systems military command or service.
5. Develop medium- and long-range drone capability.

“The New Jersey School of Conservation opened in 1949 occupying the site of Civilian Conservation Corps Camp S-57 and Camp S-71. To the CCC we owe the existence of Lake Wapalanne, created by the construction of an earthen dam across Springbrook, and many of the buildings that make up the two campuses of NJSOC. Six of Camp S-71’s original buildings on the Sequoya campus, as well as the 12 cabins, Kittatinny Hall, Big Timbers, Staff Lodge, the infirmary, and the Main Office on the Wapalanne campus—all built by the CCC—continue to be in use year-round today. In 1981, Governor Brendan T. Byrne signed legislation designating the NJSOC as a school for environmental field study in perpetuity. Updated legislation signed by Governor Phil Murphy in 2022 put the NJSOC under the management of the Friends of the New Jersey School of Conservation. The NJSOC remains true to its CCC legacy as it continues to serve students at all educational levels, educators, researchers, and the general public through its year-round residential environmental education and summer camp programs.”

🇺🇸 ⏰ Eat Heavy “Hardly a day goes by in the cardboard cutout sundown.” - Don Van Vliet 📷 Morven Drumthwacket
Mural celebrating the 100th anniversary of the incorporation of the Borough of Morris Plains, NJ. Mural is affixed to the westbound side railway embankment of the Morris & Essex line of NJ Transit. The mural is in twilight shadow lit by a single floodlight. The railway above it is silhouetted against the fading blue and yellowing sky of sunset.

The mural depicts the motto “100 Years of Caring” with the graphic “MP” centered in a sunburst reminiscent of the Japanese war-era “rising sun”. Around it to the left are depictions of a soccer ball, field hockey stick, a yellow fire truck, a red schoolhouse, a cartoon beaver wearing glasses reading a book with a solid purple cover standing in an open field with two other books laying open to the sky, and a distant Jaqui Falls before a stand of trees in autumn color. At right a NJ Transit commuter train approaches with a smiling face (a la Tommy the Tank Engine), Arthur’s Tavern, children sledding on a snowy hill, and a person fishing from a boat on a small pond.
