The human cost of deportation raids is immense. We need to prioritize the health and well-being of all members of our community. My latest article explores this issue in depth. open.substack.com/pub/welcomem...

It's time to challenge the harmful narrative that undocumented immigrants are responsible for crime and drug issues in the U.S. The data tells a different story. open.substack.com/pub/welcomem... Read my latest Substack article to learn more. #immigration #factsnotfear #crimerates

Mass deportations hurt CA families & our economy. Undocumented workers are essential, especially in agriculture & healthcare. We must protect our neighbors & ensure everyone feels safe. #NoMassDeportations #ImmigrantRights #CAValues

I work at a hospital and we have been having meetings to discuss this issue. How are we going to provide care to our most vulnerable populations if they don't feel safe to come to the hospital for care! We are really worried about this.

This is going to go over as well as a tornado in a trailer park. The red states are sooooo screwed if this happens. Blue states will be effected too, but but nearly as bad as the others. Oooff!

As much as I want to agree with you, I can't. People say the same thing about celebrities when they speak about politics. We can't make one group shut up when we don't like what they have to say. We just have to counter with facts or hit them in the wallet by not backing their business.

Hey @bsky.app crew, are you going to make a tablet optimized app in the future? Because a phone app on a tablet is a horrible experience.

Last time I was at Costco here in Cali, there were zero eggs. I think Cali is ahead of public health in this country and makes sure to pull products that affect public health quickly.

🚨House Ethics Report on Gaetz:🚨 Paid for sex (FL laws violated), had sex with a 17 y/o (stat rape), used drugs, took illegal gifts, misused office, obstructed investigation. No federal sex trafficking. He resigned, but report released anyway. #politics #ethics #Gaetz

So #unitedhealthcare CEO Brian Thompson is murdered possibly by a disgruntled customer (not confirmed) and now Anthem Blue Cross is announcing they will not pay for anesthesia after a set allotted amount of hours in surgery for NY, CT, and MO. This is a prime example of #FAFO. Buckle up people!!

Oh no! The #unitedhealthcare #insurance CEO killer was wearing a @peakdesign.bsky.social everyday 30L backpack. Not the best advertisement for Peak. Coincidentally, I have the exact same bag!

I totally understand where you are coming from, but unfortunately, profits will always come before mental health. So even Bluesky will eventually have to find equilibrium between censoring content and making a profit. We are in a golden time in the fledgling SM site, but it will eventually change.

If you needed even MORE of a reason to switch to Bluesky, China is "troubled" by the fact that they've invested so much time on Twitter buying ads, bots, and influencers... only to see the people they're seeking to manipulate (us) flee the site. www.semafor.com/article/11/2...

A follow up to my @bsky.app question. This is regarding "re-tweets"? Are they called "re-flutters"? I really need to know!!
