Year 6 played maths games outdoors today to consolidate their learning on division this week. We played the remainders game, running to the correct cone to show to remainder in our calculation, and we divided 4 digits numbers by 2 digit numbers, converting our remainders to decimals. #mathsatWelbeck

Y2/1 have been practising their drawing skills today. We looked at some of the interesting buildings in our local area and then tried to draw them using a range of different lines and lots of detail! They did a great job ! 😁 #ArtatWelbeck

Science club became bug explorers this week. We explored our forest garden and found lots of different bugs including spiders and beetles. We were very careful to put everything back as we found it. The children loved seeing the bugs close up! #ScienceatWelbeck 🪲🕷️

Inspired by the brilliant picture book, ‘Ruby’s Worry’ by Tom Percival, Year 4K discussed how everyone experiences ‘worries’ and how to get help at home or school if these become overwhelming. We set up our class ‘worry monster’ and practised writing worries to put in its mouth! #PSHEatWelbeck
