I finally understand why people like teams so much. Had a great time at Summergeddon. Can't wait to do it again next year.

Lol. Stay out of our state then!

Weirdnobz @weirdnobz.bsky.social · 15/04/2025

I have not. Thanks for sharing! That place looks cool! We'll have to check it out.

Weirdnobz @weirdnobz.bsky.social · 15/04/2025

That's awesome. Ya'll are the new Texas.

Weirdnobz @weirdnobz.bsky.social · 14/04/2025

MCP mostly. Some CCGs and third party skirmish games. A couple went to 40K (shivers).

Weirdnobz @weirdnobz.bsky.social · 14/04/2025

Glad it’s stable for ya’ll. When 3rd dropped I ran a Path to Glory event with over 100 people signed up. Now, we struggle getting 10 people for a tournament. It’s really sad.

100

Weirdnobz @weirdnobz.bsky.social · 14/04/2025

Yeah, we definitely have a core group of newer players that are getting into the game, but the all of the pillars of the community are gone. Never thought I’d see that happen in Texas.

200

Weirdnobz @weirdnobz.bsky.social · 14/04/2025

I'm curious how the local AoS scenes are doing. Better than 3rd? Worse? I know the tournament numbers are up relevant to a year ago, but how is your local community doing? In Austin we're on life support right now. Let's talk.

Weirdnobz @weirdnobz.bsky.social · 13/04/2025

Ugh. Listbuilding in AoS sucks so bad. Our local group has hemorrhaged more than 3/4s of our player base. Add on top of that Battletomes bring little new to the game. Something has got to be done.

Weirdnobz @weirdnobz.bsky.social · 14/03/2025

Maybe I can play better if I only have 2 warscrolls. Let's find out!

Updated the reference sheet to v1.5.1. For some reason, the output was defaulting to spreads. That's been fixed for easier printing. Available to download in PDF format here: weirdnobz.com/game-aids/ #NewAoS #WarhammerCommunity

Got a game of Marvel Criss Protocol in last night. It's really fun and sadly in a much better state than Age of Sigmar at the moment.

I haven't played AoS in over a month. Come watch me forgot all my rules and still stomp Joe and Morathi into the ground (or just make a fool of myself). twitch.tv/weirdcast

This is quite possibly the greatest miniatures related thing I have ever seen. Bravo!

Honestly that’s the best stuff about these books. Now when you buy a new time, it has like 2 pages of new lore and if you’re lucky some sort of painting guide. I really feel like they lost their way.

Weirdnobz @weirdnobz.bsky.social · 28/01/2025

I stopped buying books. It’s just a lot of copy paste now which is sad. I wish the army books were just massive lore dumps with tons of new art and painting guides. Keep the rules separate.

Can all of them be my favorite? They really killed it.

Indeed. After how Smash & Bash played out this past weekend, next year I'm probably using clocks on the top 10 tables day 2.

It's crazy to me that GW doesn't stream AoS. There are over 1500 watching this game, including me, and I don't even speak French or have a clue as to what they are saying. www.twitch.tv/frenchwargame

So annoyed they killed all these center piece models. Here's mine. Was really proud of my magmadroth warshrine. It won a couple painting awards.
