God looks after fools and little children, I suppose. Ended up the day up five policies plus one effective in October. Mostly walk/call-in business. If I can get anything like this in the next week and a half, plus another life, I’ll be able to skate death again and be on to the next month.

We stopped at the Trickster museum in Schaumburg! Looked at the exhibits, got to watch a demo of Aztec dancing. After that, we perused the IKEA and I got sauce packets for Swedish meatball sauce!

It is shaping up to be a lean month again. If boss makes good on last month’s threat, do I get to yell at him? New guy is shaping up, but he’s still baby. I don’t think boss will pop me loose if he gets good, because again, this man CANNOT keep staff- but it’s a tickle in the back of my brain.

So to my mind that’s very much a ‘good luck with that, I’ll worry about it when you show you can actually keep someone’ thing. But still. It’s the sheer attitude of ‘you’re taking too much time away from productivity for me’. Maybe you should have structured your day on a strict 9-5, then?
