Even though I'm going THROUGH IT and lost a lot of people who were close to me, I've made brand new connections with people who, so far, have been far more valuable. I feel actually HEARD for the first time in my life and given a space to actually heal from a lifetime of trauma. wowowowowow.

I was doing some paperwork this week. Used my tablet to fill it all out, got to the last page "this needs to be hand written and notarized" WHY, IT WAS SENT TO ME VIA EMAIL. AT LEAST PUT THAT ON THE FIRST PAGE. NOT PAGE 28. So now I have to find and fight with a printer too orz Solidarity.

Surge pricing shouldn't exist. "Base" price for a ride 5 miles down the road is 15 dollars, but I've yet to see it drop below 35. Also; google maps has the 'public transport' tab for planning your route. It should be illegal for Lyft and other private services to be listed there.

I am so happily sipping my (almost) black coffee as we speak LOL. Most (adults) I know entirely skip breakfasts here. Too busy to cook a proper meal, and the easy to make stuff is going to slow you down more than skipping a meal. AND SO GREASY. My go-to is a bagel if I have to eat in the morning.
